This was a terrible experience. I was promised it all and receive nothing. I was told there will be bespoke marketing but I just got a right move and Zoopla add and one social media post. No video even though we suggested it. When the property went on Rightmove there was a “glitch” and the exterior photos were not showing. Nor the floor plan or sizes. After almost a week this got fixed. But the ad wasn’t reset. In less than 2 weeks we were recommended to reduce the price based on a property that sold 2 years ago which was over 1,000 sqf smaller. I was told the agreement was 12 weeks but he had noted 20 weeks and never left me a copy of the agreement. When I gave notice suddenly we had interested parties. I had a toddler and 2 indoor cats and 5,000 sqf to tidy up but he always gave me less than 24hrs notice. Communication was almost like non existence. We would have paid him around 26k yet we had an office number and email to communicate with him. Emails took days office number almost never replied. He was always negative about everything. He then bought on a colleague who was a little more active but still the whole experience was stressful and just dragged. We switched agents and even before the ad went live we had a viewing.
