From the initial meeting with Louise we had confidence Wards of Welling would give an excellent service and they certainly didn't disappoint, they went over and above to assist what was a complicated situation. Louise, Nicki and Stacy were exceptional in every way from keeping us updated all the way though, assisting with paperwork and being so understanding in what were our requirements. we would very highly recommend the team of Wards of Welling.

Viewed a new-build with Stacy at Wards and she was brilliant. Really organised, proactive, sent timely reminders without being pushy, and chased answers quickly. We didn’t proceed (developer-side issues), but Stacy stayed straight with us, kept us updated, and never pressured us. Honestly, other estate agents don’t treat potential buyers this well. Would happily view through her again and recommend her to fellow first-time buyers.

Avoid at all costs, very unprofessional and unhelpful.
My daughter made an offer on a property which was declined but she left the offer on the table and was prepared to raise it if necessary.
They didn’t inform my daughter that an another offer had been made and anccepted therefore denying her the opportunity of raising her offer.

Having just completed on selling a property through Wards in Welling we received a great service from Louise, Ann and in fact all the staff at the branch who were great at keeping our spirits up during the 2023 housing slump! Also Debbie once the sale went through - was great for keeping us updated on the process and ensuring everything kept moving along on both the sale and purchase as we were moving out of the area. They were always available for any questions we had, were knowledgeable, and helpful and without their constant input our sale and subsequent purchase would probably still be ongoing. Wards of welling represented our vendors. They lied to us about the nature of the chain. They said it was at an end when in fact the last chain was in probate. In fact, they messed up every single interaction and bit of administration. For example - when it cane to collecting the keys they told us that the property had been empty for days. We turned up and the vendors were still packing. Their staff members Ann and Debbie were incredibly unprofessional, rude and manipulative. Our solicitor and estate agent informed us that these staff members have a bad reputation so I am very surprised to see good reviews for them here. Perhaps they are false, or perhaps you get a completely different service and level of competency if you are the vendor and paying their fee.

Just phoned Wards of Welling very close to closing time in the hope of arranging a viewing. I spoke to Val who was incredibly helpful and friendly, giving me great info about the areas I was looking at, as well as the potential of the house I wanted to view and suggesting a second property that I hadn’t seen. There was no sense of being rushed, despite my requests for information and advice taking us well past 6pm. I have spoken to and registered with seven different estate agents in my target area over the last month, and this was by far the best experience. And while I was typing this I received a text from Val (at 6.30pm) confirming my viewing - excellent service :-)

We had a bit of a bumpy journey with purchasing our house, and there were times when we thought it was all going to fall through. Although I believe overall comms from Wards could improve, all credit for us getting the house goes to Val (Wards of Welling branch) who really went above and beyond to make sure we completed on time. Val was brilliant at liaising with us and the sellers, making sure we were in the loop and keeping the transaction going all the way to the end. Val gets 5/5 from us!

The wards staff were great selling our house but once it was sold it took 4 weeks to go to the sales progressor! Then we did not get any updates and had to keep calling or when they did ring it was to ask us for updates! A lot of the time they said they would ring us back and didn’t! Don’t think I would use them again.

Horrendous service! Absolutely disrespectful, rude and have no idea how to deal with clients. This is by far one of the worst agents I have come across. Asked the manager to contact me and no reply in order to complain about Sam/Valerie who totally mixed up the booking, did not attend then had the nerve to blame us and had no idea that the property had already been sold. Total waste of my time. No apologies nothing. Do not bother wasting your time with this agent. They also brought the appointment forward for their own benefit and then did not show or call us. When finally answered they were so rude and disrespectful, disgusting attitude.
