Having used Wards in the past and receiving a great service when selling and purchasing our own properties, for us it was the right choice to use Wards again for the sale of our parents property under probate. Wards are professional and have a friendly approach, for us the sale of the property couldn't have been in better hands, they arranged an open house day and kept us informed of each prospective purchaser and of all feed back received. The Sales Coordinator Kim was the person liaising between all sets of Solicitors, she kept us updated with all aspects of how the sale was progressing, dealing with any issues along the way and chasing Solicitors when needed. We found Kim to be pleasant and very helpful and through her coordination the sale progressed smoothly and efficiently. We would also like to thank, Kenny Branch Manager of Gravesend and his staff, Simran, Yasmin and Maria, they were always very professional, friendly and helpful in their dealings with us. Simran was our main contact and was always just a phone call away if we needed any questions answering, and with updates on the sale. POSITIVES The branch managed to sell my property within a week! Unfortunately the sale fell through. But the team managed to get new people in to view and was quickly sold again. Yasmin was especially helpful. Very friendly and always happy. She always delivered on what she said she would do. Kim Batchelor was my sales progressor and is a great character. She managed my expectations and her advice was very valuable. We had a good rapport and understood what was needed from each other. She would always answer any questions with conviction and no nonsense. Yasmin and Kim were the main reasons I stuck with Wards after my 1st sale fell through. Both great assets to the company. NEGATIVES Not the branch’s fault, but Wards had a system crash in December which made things very frustrating early doors. I did not always get a call-back when requested. I would probably say that around 30% of my callback requests were actually fulfilled. One member of branch staff (not sure of her name) really needs some customer relation training. Every conversation I had with her she sounded like she couldn’t care less. Luckily Yasmin had enough positivity energy for the both of them and redeemed everything. After my first sale fell through, it was suggested that I lower the price. The price was not the issue! It annoyed me that this was suggested. We hosted the majority of viewings, with no Wards agents attending. I believe we had 6 or 7 viewings and an agent attended less than half of them.... Read more
