I asked them if anything wrong, they said no, everything's fine they have 10 days to return the deposit. Would give less than the obligatory 1 star. Partner called to book a viewing for a property and was met with nothing but sigh's and sure's while we set it up.
Was promised a confirmation - never got one.
Was promised a call or email if the property got taken before our viewing, which worked perfectly as we'd be traveling abroad to come see it - never got that either, assuming it got claimed as it's no longer up.
Called the day before - no answer, no call-back.
On the day - full no-show.
Luckily we had another viewing booked as well, so the trip wasn't in vain, but was quite something to be stood up like this by a persumably professional agency. Best of luck to anyone interacting with them.

We were supposed to have a valuation done with Wards. Didn’t show up, no phone call to let us know they were running late/not coming. When speaking to head office, informed it was in the dairy and even they were surprised no one had shown up.
Valuation also supposed to be done by the branch manager.
Have not rearranged as this was incredibly unprofessional and do not trust them.

Scott was very helpful, taking the time to explain each step and offering valuable advice. Elycia was also friendly and efficient, handling all my queries with patience. My experience with Ward and Partners (Dartford branch) has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. While the team was enthusiastic and responsive at the start, that level of service quickly vanished once I signed the agreement.
Throughout the process, communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. I was left to chase updates myself, and it often felt like different members of the team weren’t aligned or aware of the latest developments. Instead of 2-3 month process, it dragged out to more than 6 months — with little to no proactive input from the agency.
To make matters worse, they attempted to charge a higher fee than originally agreed, which was unacceptable.
My advice to anyone considering using Ward and Partners in Dartford: read your contract very carefully, and think twice. There are far more reliable and professional agents in the area.

With a unique property to sell, which three estate agents all had difficulty in valuing, we decided on Wards having felt confident after speaking to Nick. His advice turned out to be spot on, and we sold at first viewing.
He continued to liaise with us just as our house went on the market while we were on holiday in Thailand, tweaking the description to our satisfaction; and since then Laura has been extremely proactive and communicative, as has Chloe in Laura’s absence.

Sold my property through Laura at Wards. Very impressed with her. When she came to my property she'd done her research, had a clear plan of how she was going to get me a good price for my flat, and ultimately delivered on that. Marketing and selling my property through Wards, Dartford was the easiest and best decision made.
From the initial valuation conducted by Laura through to viewings, open houses and the process has felt streamlined and stress free. Through her experience, knowledge and sheer passion for her profession and her clients she has been able to make one of life’s most stressful transaction feel somewhat so easy, even when at times when parts can feel like a huge issue for a client.
With her support and other sales advisors in the branch including David, this transaction could have felt so much more difficult given past experiences with other high street estate agents.
From in-house referrals to mortgage brokers and legal services and even down to facilitating marketing, the Wards model is set up for successful. While their fees appear expensive in comparison to other agents, they truly care about their clients and all transactions from initial engagement through to sale and even after. You really do get what you pay for and the personal experience supersedes going cheaper.
The first thing I said when meeting Laura was “please make this easy for me as a seller” and true to her word, that is exactly what she did. I cannot recommended her or Wards, Dartford more if I tried! Thank you!!!

The seller of the property we bought as first time buyers used Wards so we had a couple of dealings with them. These consisted of when the seller was in the process of accepting our offer he was told by Wards to not accept and they also suggested we had CCJs and bad credit history (they had literally no proof of this as it simply wasn’t true)… they had tried to sell us their ‘VIP membership club wherein if you have your mortgage and solicitors through them you’ll get preferential treatment - we said no as had already organised and I fear this may of been the reason they tried to dissuade our seller from us.
Once our offer was accepted we had the pleasure of being hounded by the sales progression manager from Wards every few days - we were first time buyers and she didn’t talk us through the process or help us at all really, I got the impression that she was just out for the sellers in our chain as even when it was them holding everything up she’d be on our case.
Then finally we came to our completion day, we went to collect the keys from Wards Dartford Being very excited to finally
Get the keys to our new home and we’re told ‘I don’t want this to come out the wrong way, but if there’s anything wrong in your new home then don’t come to us’.
I would never recommend Wards and would never use them in the future. I felt discriminated against whenever I dealt with any of their staff. Disgraceful.

I have never experienced such an unprofessional team that is at this agency. From the first impression, the lady was rude over the phone and late for her viewing. Then when I followed up, they had not picked up the phone when they recognized the caller ID and when I called from another number( 2 minutes later) after picking up and asking how can they help, they just hung up on me. We have put an offer on a property with them, and they have never got back to us to update whether our offer got accepted or not. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!

At the end of the day I have called Wards agent regarding the viewing but he told me there is no updates and that tommorow he will be on day off so I need to call to the agency and someone else will help me. I saw a great studio flat on the Wards website and spoke to the Dartford Lettings team about renting it. I needed a place ASAP and this studio’s location was perfect for a commuter. I had all the money ready to pay including holding fees and also had good references to hand.
The property was advertised as immediately available from 17th January and I asked for a viewing in January. However, Wards kept delaying it blaming it on the previous tenant not moved out yet. Consequently, I didn’t get a viewing until the last week of February (4 week wait!), which makes no sense as the property was advertised as immediately available in January! When I called/emailed Wards about why it was falsely advertised, they could not respond. The whole experience felt like a waste of time as in the end, the landlord chose another applicant. I wish I had spent the time looking at letting agents elsewhere.
My advice to anyone dealing with Wards is to always have inquiries with another lettings company elsewhere as backup, as Wards can tend to let you down and waste your time. Really upsetting.

I had the property on the market with a well known online agent, accepted offer but the sale fell through went back on the market and accepted another offer which also fell through due to chain issues and decided to have a break on the house search. A few month past and I viewed another property listed with Wards and met Imarna I explained my situation with my current property as wanted to find our onward purchase before marketing the property again not to have to go through the process again for there to be issues. Part of the reasons for the sale falling through I believe was no sales progression from the online agents so I said I was open to letting another agent market the property, Imarna said that they had recently sold a property for over the asking price and they was looking for a property like mine and thought they could achieve a price higher than the asking price, I thought they is no harm in letting them have a go at marketing it if they can achieve more for the property to cover the additional fees. Laura come to my house and I agreed to give Wards the listing and one viewing to take place at the weekend. After the viewing we received an offer above asking price which we accepted and I cannot fault the service and how responsive and easy it has been with Wards in comparison with the online agent. I knew the house would sell no matter what agent it was with so went cheap and got cheap service, I just wish I had gone with Wards straight away and maybe wouldn’t of wasted thousands on fees.
Every communication I have had with Laura and Imarna has been a pleasure and really felt looked after and cared for.

If you are a tenant and in a position to rent from Wards please stay away as they lead to day light robbery! Wards will only look after the landlords, will get the rent on time and on a regular basis however will leave you to live with major dump issue without considering you or your childrens heath issues for 8 months on the concrete floor. After a while, when you are patiently waiting for a repair they will serve you a notice to leave during pandemic and they will try to steal £800 from your deposit with the landlord for damages(thanks god, which was recorded with the photos when we first moved in) that were already there.
It has not finished yet, as the house gets its water from the soil and the dump issue is a major and expensive work( can be proven by insurance company’s expert report) and they let the landlord cover the floor with another flooring and they will put that house on market pretending that house is beautiful and is nothing wrong.
As soon as they publish the house on their website I won’t hesitate to give a full address for this house as whoever buys this house will have to face major work!

We have dealt with many of the other agencies selling homes in the area and very few are like Wards. Definitely recommend going via Wards for any first-time buyers...and ask for Milly. You won't regret it. She is a total gem!

I really enjoyed meeting a very professional, bright and friendly estate agent Milly Hallett when she first showed me round the flat I am now ready to complete on last year as well as showing me a few other properties. She was incredibly helpful, making suggestions how the properties could work for me as a home, she even looked up what size bed would fit in the bedroom. I met her again today at my flat, so nice to be greeted by her as she remembered my daughter and I and again she gave great advice how to use the space well. Buying a property as a newly single person can be daunting but Milly’s welcoming attitude and guidance made the experience enjoyable and exciting. Went in to the branch today to find out about houses on the market in the area and to leave some details.
I was immediately greeted by the team and they all had a friendly and approachable manner! James invited me to sit down and took all my details, with none of the pressures I've experienced in other places! He was very good at understanding what type of property we would be needing and it was all very easy and comfortable! Looking forward to using them in the near future! Very impressed indeed!

The costs / charges were all upfront and dealt with in timely fashion.

Well, i went with your company to let my house. It was on the market for over 2 months and got absolutely nothing from you. I would not recommend your company at all, i was lied too on numerous occasions about the keys when i asked for them to be posted to give to my new agent. I had to make about 4 phone calls, chasing them to be posted and was told they had been on Friday. Marina said she had sent them recorded delivery for monday... this was a lie. I didn't receive the key until the following friday. It was NOT recorded delivery! Very unprofessional, glad i left.

Dartford branch-bought a property from them and renting it out through them. I have to say am impressed with this branch.
SALE: I had a very limited budget and was contacted by one of their sales member to view a property which I did not think I could buy as my budget was a little below the asking prices, however, as the person knew the sellers were looking for someone who is not in a chain we managed to strike a deal with which I am super happy (it was 7 years ago).
LETTING:I have been renting this property with Wards for the last 3 years and am very happy with the service. They found a really great tenant, they perform their 6month inspection on time and send you the report, if you miss a call from them and call back they know who called you and why, I prefer to be contacted via email and this is working well as well. They property management fee is competitive as far as I know ( 12%) and they froze it for a few years.
4 stars not 5 because of two things I was a little bit not happy about was 1) the fact the letting agent insisted I agree on a 6-month tenancy not 12 (meaning I had to pay tenancy renewal fee 2 a year not just ones), but this was later changed. 2) the contractors they use quoted me 1700 for work ( and that was just an initial quote, meaning the work could have cost more if they find other issues), while I got the work done for 1200 with another contractor who seeing the agency's quote branded it a 'rip off'' ;the gas safety certificate is 86 pounds, while I would expect it to be the standard 64 (at the end of the day, the contractor used by the agency must have loads of properties to do so I do not see a reason for this premium).

Really poor customer service from the lettings department. Having expressed interest in a property viewed, a whole week was wasted in getting answers to questions. Had to chase 4 times. When finally got to speak to a manager was advised they had the answers all along. We've now lost the property because we wanted to view it again. Had that week not been wasted we probably would have secured it!

Wouldn't recommend anyone use Ward and Partners at all in Dartford. Quick to make a great impression when trying to get your business, then once "representing" they don't follow instructions, internal staff don't talk to each other, different conversations and decisions made by different agents when told only one person would be handling my sale let alone no one singing from the same book, leave your home not how they left if after viewings which at times were forced at very short notice, bank holidays included and at my expense and time to do them. Broken an item in my home and diminished responsibility until I had to argue the case that I left the item working and came home to it broken when only Wards and potential buyers had been in my home. To top it all off devalued my home £20,000 after just 3 weeks on the market and then lied to potential buyers that the devaluation was at my request and I had gone against their advice when it was their decision to do so. Tied me into a 20 week contract and not once asked why I wanted out once I requested to leave their services and came across very blasé and nonchalant about my decision to leave, lack any empathy or understanding and instead come across very unprofessional and at times very childish and sarcastic in their written communications. Happy so send overwhelming amounts of emails and texts but never reply to anything sent to them and over all the attitude of it being very much all my fault when pointing out their wrong doing and never took any responsibility for any of their own wrong doing let alone outright lies. Directly complained to head office and got a letter in the post advising it was being investigated. Awful awful service, wish i'd done more investigation as Google searches show awful service for the majority of Ward and Partners in Kent. AVOID if you want a good service and don't want to waste 5-6 months of your time.

Had four estate agents around to value our property on 14 May 2018 and the other three were fantastic but Ward and Patners from Dartford I was bitterly disappointed in for the following reasons. We did not get or like the sales pitch felt like it was all numbers figures and charts and nothing about the property itself and its selling points. To boot the costs were double the other estate agents who visited and the price did not include the professional photgraphy and no negotiation on these prices unlike the other agencies. Five days on and still no communication from them about the valuation unlike all the other 3.Sorry gave these 0/10 better deals elsewhere

One of the worst estate agents ever, promise call backs and you never get them, told lies to cover incompetence, bought a property from them and considered pulling out a number of times because their service was so poor, they made a huge amount from an old man to sell his house and took every opportunity to get more money from him, if estate agents go all online they will only have themselves to blame awful do not waste your money with them!!!

Very disappointed in their service and communication skills, totally unprofessional from my contact at the branch-and the manager I have taken 1/2 day off of work to have a appointment I was lead to believe for photographer and upgrade my Marketing for free as they have not sold my flat only to find out that it was a 5 minute appointment to sign the forms, they expected me to then have another appointment for the photographer, I felt that my verbal complaint was not taken seriously by the manager, he made light of the fact that I had taken 1/2 day off and said people don’t get shot for making a mistake (ie the person who made the appointment with me) and at least I’m getting something for free, he then told me that she would text me that afternoon to say when the photographer was coming , 24 hours later I rang and was told that she had only just found out and was going to contact me, I’m so disappointed and I have no faith in the Dartford branch at all....

We found ourselves in a bit of a fix, having to move out of the property we had sold before the property we had bought (a new-build) was ready for occupation and we needed to source a property fast.
Marina Carter in the Dartford office got everything sorted from an initial viewing of the property on Thursday 5th February and we moved in the following Thursday (12th).
