In terms of viewings for properties to let he did more for me in hours than other estate agents had failed or just about accomplished in days, plus adding helpful suggestions and recommendations which made my trips to view in Kettering from London more efficient than I thought possible.

Just exchanged contracts yesterday after a rollercoaster of a journey, and Georgia couldnt have been more kind and hardworking on our behalf.
I knew Georgia had teamed up with my solicitor, (who ill be leaving another 5plus star review for after this one! ) and together were fighting our corner for us every step of the way, while we carried on with our busy lives.
It has been refreshing to deal with someone that does what they say they will, when they said they'd do it. I litrally had to chase up 0 times. As it got quite stressful in the last couple of weeks, ive really valued knowing that everything was under control and being delt with, and litrally just had to focus on getting through the days. I dont know what we'd have done if we had to have chased everyday! I know we wouldnt have been moving this week if it wasnt for Georgia's dedication!

As a contractor carrying out electrical works for their landlords, (I will say the rates could be better for contractors but I suppose they also keep them reasonable for landlords and tenants…. ????)
I have also rented out two of my own houses through this branch with YM acting as the agent.
I’ve bought two houses through them, and also sold two houses through them. Each time they have gone above and beyond to help me and get the deals over the line.
Whilst slightly more expensive than others in the town, the quality and professionalism is unmatched.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to sell a friend/family members house or manage their properties.
They’re all over the landlord regulations and pretty much take care of everything automatically, each time proposing solutions rather than problems.
I can’t recommend them enough.

I would like to give a 5 star rating to Michael Dainty and Tom, for all their help, advice and communications. when a new property came on the market, they will call with exciting news of the property and always say "must see". They will call on the morning of the viewing to ensure that I will be there on time for the appointment. They were prompt, efficient and very informative.
The property viewing was for my son Patrick and whilst driving on the M1, I will always receive a courtesy phone call from the boys on the morning of the viewing, asking how is road traffic and reminding us to have a safe journey as we were driving from Wembley, we both thought that was a "lovely customer service touch". It was such a pity that when Patrick found his property it was from another estate agent. Sorry guys!!!

We have received fantastic service so far. From the start we have had very quick response from Darryl Borthwick-Robertron regarding the house viewing. He is a great guy, very positive and easy to talk. Next day Max Jelliman have showed us the property. He was very friendly, easy going and professional, very well prepared and able to answer for all our questions.
Day after we already got a call from Darryl who went with us through next stage of the process to make sure we can get all necessary documents and references from work and previous landlord ready. We did not have to worry about chasing the progress of our case. He was in touch with us regularly. Same as Gareth who was dealing with the references - he has responded promptly and quickly.
Whole process took barely 4 days and we finally got good news on Friday evening that our tenant referencing has been concluded. Happy Friday!!

I would adivse you to stay away from this agency. Me and my family have been renting a house from them for the past 10y. We were good tenants, no issues whatsoever and always forthcoming when it came to the scheduled house check-ups. We have decided to move, while leaving the house in a decent shape (no damage to the house) and the agency decided to keep 1/2 of the deposit for themselves. I am dissapointed! Decency seems to exist in this agency only if you keep paying them. It seems that you have "the right" to pay them rent, but not to get the deposit back. Think twice before you end up in the same situation as me and my family did.

I did an online valuation for our house purchase just for my information. Dan from Your Move branch in Kettering checked in asking if he could be of any help. I politely declined, everything under control - that's what I thought! Our mortgage application has been going on for a few months and Dan kept checking in and I kept declining his help. Until one day when our purchase nearly fell through because of delays with our mortgage.
I rang Dan asking for help - on a Friday late afternoon! Now Dan could have given up on me by this time but he didn't. He assured no problem, booked me for a consultation with their mortgage advisor David and David saved our mortgage, effortlessly in 7 days! Have Dan given up on us, this would have been a different story, with a lot of sorrow. Dan haven't given up on us, despite us not even being his customers. He had no reward from helping us, but he still did. I couldn't have wished for more loyalty, I just didn't see it early enough. We are in debt eternally and I can't thank Dan's team enough. Finest customer service, they are so pleasant and polite one wonders if they are even humans. They can certainly walk the walk, perhaps even march.
I'm proud to be their customer and feel safe that I have allies who are ready to help not for the profits but through their sense of duty and expertise.
I would urge anyone considering their services - don't be like me, use their wisdom, they are really that good!

What a great service I have received so far from the whole team at your move (Kettering), and especially Michael Dainty and Jessica Roberts. When Michael came to our house to take the photos and 3D video, he took his time making sure he captured the best shots, which really shown when we seen the end result. This attracted lots of potential buyers, and Your Move arranged for 15 viewings in a single day which worked perfectly for us. They also did all the showing around and explaining the property and managed to keep to the tight timescales. YourMove Hobin Roberts Kettering have been managing my Northants properties for a few years now and always do a fantastic job.
During what can only be described as an extensive refurb, Max accompanied a perspective tenant for a viewing, explained as best as he could how the property would look post works and secured the property for the tenant before it went on the market!
Max liased with the tenant and myself and the property achieved considerably more per calendar month than I initially expected. (This exceeded the ceiling price for the area)
During the refurbishment Max regularly kept in touches for progress updates and between myself, him and the tenant we arranged a tenancy start date that suited everyone. The tenancy commenced the same day the refurbishment was complete thus minimising voids.
I have since recommended YourMove to several people, and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work Kettering!!

Dan has been quick off the mark with finding a tenant and the communication has been excellent. Again nothing is too much trouble.
The few interactions with Joe have been stellar and his professional and friendly personality mean that he his approachable, which is important for any manager. More importantly, he makes me feel valued as a client and not just another number.

My first contact to Hobin Roberts Your Move Kettering Branch, was Joe, who pictured our home. He arrived on time was smartly dressed and professional about his business.
He was using new (to us) camera technology which enabled the house to then have the walk around feature. It was then I was introduced to Daryl who was described as ‘the best’, they weren’t wrong. Daryl was enthusiastic and energised about the task of selling our house from the start. He kept us appraised fully and started to tell his contacts about the property, within 24 hrs we had interest & a viewing. After the house was on the website we had 4 viewings and offers within 48 hours. Daryl negotiated in our behalf and we got full asking price. He is ‘the best’.
It was then Jess from the Sales Progression Team who held my hand through the lengthy wait of accepting an offer right the way through to completion. Jess was informative and comforting when I wobbled with concerns, she pushed information into the right hands and nudged solicitors when needed. By the close of this whole transaction I can say that it took 8 weeks. We are now settling into our new home and very grateful for the team.

Fantastic experience again dealing with Your Move Kettering. Fantastic staff and experience from start to finish. I dealt with a number of staff and they were all fantastic. Joe Roberts, who initially came out to do the valuation at a time that suited us, very flexible and accommodating. Micheal Dainty who initially did all the photography - I couldn’t fault his discription of the property or the way he put the details together for us. Max Jelliman and Darryl Borthwick-Robertson who took time to do numerous viewings, at no point did they rush or did it ever seem like a problem to come out and help. All the staff were fantastic with getting the property to the market and getting it sold. After the sale was complete Jessica Roberts was fantastic! She was professional, approachable and always there. She returned every call quickly, she progressed the sale efficiently and nothing ever seemed like too much of a problem!! She really did make the experience with your move the complete package!

The property took only 2 viewings to sell. The agent had a good range of potential customers to contact and helped to secure a good price and speedy conclusion of the sale, despite the pandemic. When Michael came round to value my property, I had already was on my 3rd estate agent and was looking to go with a Internet agent.
Michael said"Just give me four week" and he delivered i had more viewings in three weeks than the others had done in two years.
I was fed up with chasing estate agents to find out whats was happening, not with your move Kettering they was on the ball in very short time I felt at ease that they had my best interest.
I cannot recommend Your Move Kettering high enough and felt they was worth every penny.
They managed to change my views on estate agents totally and cannot thank them enough.

Frustrated I decided to go with Your Move. Within approx 1 week they had secured me a buyer! That was already impressive, but it is the after sales service that really impressed. Absolutely first class. We may not have been paying the fees as we were buying not selling, however at every stage Darryl has made us feel like the most important client. Having previously had a bad experience with another local estate agent, and of course the stereotype of the industry, we were very wary of how much support we would get. I can only say that Darryl's proactive response to every step through the process ensured even someone as overly organised as me, was one step behind his efficient communications. The added extra was the upbeat, friendly approach which meant more often than not, I would call not email just to get the benefit of the positivity! I saw all the negative reviews people put on here for this agency. I didn't know how bad this agency was until I dealt with them myself. Undervalued my property below market price and tried to put my property at a ridiculous below market value price on the market. When one agent had valued at a much higher correct price for my property. Never going to be using them again.

Avoid at all costs! Wouldn’t recommend to a homeless person if they gave him free accommodation!
I was told the property had 2 parking spaces and a gated entrance coming soon. This was not the case, gate was broken and rather than it being fixed (as promised) I was issued one parking permit, which is one short of the two needed for our parking spaces.
Left without hot water or heating for over 2 weeks and told to wash using hot water from the kettle.
Front door lock was broken, from a poor previous repair. I was then given the choice of getting it fixed in 4 days time; leaving the property unable to be locked; or paying for the lock myself and getting the money reimbursed, I chose the latter not knowing would take 2 months for this to happen and only after chasing them the whole time.
Zero stars isn’t an option!
Good luck to any poor soul that falls for your moves trap like I did!

Relationship started off very well, went to see a property I loved but sadly it wasn't quite right. Now I have someone trying to book me into houses and actually not listening to what I am saying. They have not sent me through any details of the houses they want me to see apart from one, which I have already seen with them and it looks like its sold subject to terms & conditions,. From a great start now left feeling I actually don't want to deal with Your Move again, very disappointing.

Regarding rental services, Your Move operate on a finders fee. Meaning once you’ve signed, support dwindles very quickly.
When viewing the property I currently live in I was told WiFi wouldn’t be an issue, turns out the property wasn’t linked with the internet exchange and I’ve so far, had to shell out around £120 just to be able to receive an ADSL connection, this is poor.
Additionally, there’s still a heater hanging off of the wall which I was assured would be rectified shortly after moving in... this was 2 months ago. I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to write a bad review, but being lied to by a company as large as this is atrocious.

Please avoid this company. They are charlatans, fraudsters, scammers. They lied to me, took £250 to take the property off the market then put the property back on the market without my knowledge and refuse to refund me my £250.
I have reported them to the ombudsman and taken the matter to the police. Their customer service is awful and rude. Please avoid them like a plague. You have been warned. Do not use this company under any circumstance. Their prices are exorbitant and they never disclose the terms and conditions, they just want to take your money. All the glowing reviews you see here are fake.

I had the misfortune to deal with Your Move Kettering over a period of 10 months, managing a tenancy for a client.
As a professional landlord I find it astonishing that they get away with such practises. The number of underhand charges they heap on a tenant is disgusting, communication is poor and when directly asked for contact details of a manager to make a formal complaint I was ignored, on more than one occasion.
Avoid at all costs.
