It’s a challenging market now and the house is old… meaning “character” for some and “too much needed to modernise”, for others. Foxtons was down to earth and practical at all times, understood the psychology of potential buyers as a group and gave optimal advise. I believe we got the best price we were likely to get.

Really appreciate the help from Oram. We viewed two homes with him, and although they weren't the right fit, he was a massive help. He shared a lot of his own experience and local knowledge about the area, and he also took the time to explain the May 1st Act and how it impacts us as tenants, which helped us gain a much better understanding of it.

We bought our first home through Foxtons Stratford and were really impressed with the whole team and the support they provided throughout the process.
In particular, our main contact De’Andre was incredibly conscientious and thoughtful. He was proactive in keeping us updated and always very quick to follow up on any questions or issues that arose. We really appreciated his professionalism, responsiveness, and warmth, which made the experience far less daunting as first?time buyers.

I would like to share my experience with landlords who are thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be very happy to take full year commission from you the moment they have found a tenant for you but they will not refund you in cash if your tenant moves out early say after month 2 in my case. They will not return you the commission even if you no longer wish to rent out your property. Be very careful if you are considering using Foxtons. I see the business practice as totally unfair and have shared with all my neighbours and community groups. People need to be aware of it. I will share it over the social platforms as well to promote awareness. Think about selling your property through Foxtons. Would you want to use a company like this? I wouldn’t.

They scam people like it’s a normal thing to do. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY!!! You need to investigate everything by yourself to triple make sure and then put everything into the contract if they promise anything.
Just an example during our purchase:
Purchased this flat with bathroom leak. Promised it’s already fixed. Got a surveyor myself and got back to me it’s still leaking.
Promised again it’s fixed.
Promised us for the 3rd time, just before the purchase!!! said “they spent £4000 to fix it properly”
Bought the flat, moved in, even not a single sign that the bath panel is opened. All silicone around it are old. And, it’s still leaking with severe damp issue (damp meter showing 45%)
Asked them to fix after the purchase but don’t get any reply after weeks.

Foxtons valued my property much better than other Estate Agents and got me an offer that bettered it.
They were excellent in dealing with my questions and arranging viewing when convenient to us.
