AVOID THIS AGENT. My daughter has just won a case at Nottingham Crown Court in connection with rats in her rented house. She has a 2 year old and the Agent/Landlord/Management company all confirmed in writing it was the tenants responsibility. She paid £204 for an urgent pest controller. Within days we Goggled and found the Landlord/tenant Act 1985, it is actually the landlords responsibility to pay and resolve the matter. This incident was back in July 25, today she won a Crown court judgement and the Landlord ordered to pay her the full fees plus costs.
WHY didn’t the Agent/Management company know the Law in relation to this matter in the first place. The stress this has caused to my daughter was immense.
If I could award no stars I would.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
