I rarely leave reviews, but after experiencing over a year of consistently poor service from Hamptons, I feel it is important to share my experience so that others know what they may be dealing with.

Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of exhausting. Throughout the past year, I have had to deal with poor communication, constant delays, unanswered emails, missed phone calls, broken promises, and an overall lack of professionalism. What should have been a straightforward tenancy has instead become incredibly stressful because of the way my concerns have been handled.

One of the biggest issues has been communication. Emails are regularly ignored, and when I do eventually receive a response, it is often after waiting two weeks or longer. Most of the time, I have had to send multiple follow-up emails or repeatedly call the office just to receive a simple update. No client should have to chase their property manager just to receive basic communication.

I have also been promised countless callbacks that never happened. Time after time, I have been told someone would contact me, only for nobody to call. Instead, the responsibility has always fallen back on me to continue chasing for answers. This has become a recurring pattern rather than an isolated incident.

The level of miscommunication within the branch has been extremely disappointing. Different members of staff have provided conflicting information, and I have had to explain the same issues repeatedly because it seems there is little communication between colleagues. This has wasted my time and caused unnecessary frustration.

I would also like to address my experience with the property manager, Sonsura McDonald, who manages the beaconsfield branch. Unfortunately, I have found her communication to be extremely poor throughout my tenancy. As someone in a leadership position, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability. Leaders should set the standard for excellent customer service, but based on my experience, this has not been the case. When communication and service at management level are lacking, it inevitably impacts the rest of the team.

The overall customer service from this branch has been deeply disappointing. I have often felt ignored, dismissed, and left to resolve issues on my own despite paying for a professional service. I have always remained polite and respectful, but that same level of respect has not been reflected in the way my concerns have been handled.

After more than a year of dealing with these ongoing problems, I believe the Beaconsfield branch needs to seriously review the way it operates. Significant improvements are needed in communication, accountability, organisation, and customer care. In my opinion, there needs to be a complete review of the team and its leadership because the current level of service is simply not acceptable. Customers deserve staff who communicate effectively, follow through on commitments, and genuinely care about resolving issues.

I cannot recommend Hamptons based on my experience. I hope senior management takes this feedback seriously and investigates the standards of service being provided at the Maidenhead branch. No customer should have to spend over a year constantly chasing responses, waiting weeks for updates, dealing with poor communication, and feeling that their concerns are not being taken seriously.

I sincerely hope meaningful changes are made, because the current level of service falls far below what anyone should expect from a company with Hamptons’ reputation....
