I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

Andrea Frigo was recommended to me by my letting agent. After an unsuccessful attempt at selling my flat through one of the other estate agents a couple of years ago, Andrea had it sold within a couple of weeks. We cannot recommend these guys enough.<br>This time we sold our property with Re/Max as opposed to buying !<br>Appolonia and Ryan were consistent throughout the sale of our property.<br>This selling malarkey was made so much easier by the constant communication by them both . Although a very tough time to sell<br>we were fortunate to sell within a couple of months marketed .<br>Communication with the solicitors was exemplary . Appolonia worked tirelessly!<br>Thank you so much ??????

The owner of the agency Hassan locked us out of the property. This is absolutely illegal.<br>We have already reported this to Walthamstow Council Tenancy Relations and 101. Hassan called us at 20:20 and threatened with fist fight.<br>I expect to receive an reply from your business profile on how you apologise for the inconvenience and how can you will investigate. However you are the owner of the company who locked us outside of the property and as you cannot investigate this case I will reach the the required teams for this. We did mention we had leak from the boiler and no one came to look at this.<br>We will now report this to gassafe as well.

Remax was very impressive!
I was moving myself my home and business to Scotland from England. So you can imagine it was a very stressfull and anxious time.
I met an Estate agent from Remax. Gillian, a wonderfully warm mannered lady, who seemed dedicated to ensuring things ran as smoothly as possible.
Gillian was very knowlegable about the property market, selling, buying in Scotland, I learnt so much from her, as Scotland is completley different to England.
All my questions, anxieties and concerns were delt with swiftly, she displayed a great deal of kindness and understanding. A very dedicated estate agent!.
