4th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I have rented with several agencies in London but Oliver Brooks (now operating as Kenneth Lloyd’s) was by far the worst experience. Once the agreement was signed the agency stopped caring about the condition of the property. Imran the owner was so rude, had an attitude problem and spoke to tenants with complete disrespect. Despite repeated emails, serious maintenance issues were ignored- the kitchen exhaust never worked and I was told it was “not life-threatening” and to open a window lol. There was no cleaner, common areas were poorly maintained, the WiFi never worked properly, the fridge was broken, and bathroom windows would not close. Living there for a year was extremely stressful and moving is not easy or cheap for tenants who work hard for their money unlike Imran . I strongly recommend anyone considering this agency to read the reviews carefully before renting.
25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)We had an amazing service from Vic at Woodlands from start to finish. From the regular viewings for our property all the way to completion of the sale. He was friendly and helpful and kept us up to date with the progress of the sale all the way through, we had lots of problems with a solicitor but he helped us with this as much as he could and went over and above to ensure he relieved our anxieties as much as possible. I would recommend Vic and Woodlands to anyone who is selling their property, absolutely a great experience for a very stressful time!

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers

I felt that the service was rude and overly aggressive, and there was significant unnecessary pressure to close the deal quickly.I felt pressured throughout the process, including an instance of gazumping, which added unnecessary stress.Additionally, there were moments where unhelpful comments were made regarding my solicitor during the conveyancing process. Overall, the experience took away much of the excitement of buying a new home for me and my family. Based on my experience, I would caution others and recommend carefully considering other agents in the area.

17th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Horrible experience dealing with this estate agent. Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!

A special mention to Agent Ganesh, who was very professional, responsive, and helpful at every step. He explained everything clearly, arranged viewings promptly, and ensured the handover went smoothly. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended.
9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I am disgusted by the way [Cranbrook letting Ltd] treats people. We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."

From the very first conversation, Ali was approachable, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable about the market. He took the time to listen, offered clear advice, and made sure every detail was handled perfectly. What really stood out was Ali’s commitment and work ethic. He was always available to answer questions, kept us fully informed at every stage, and proactively solved any issues before they became problems. His negotiation skills were excellent, and he worked tirelessly to secure the best possible result. Ali made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and efficient. His attention to detail, transparency, and genuine care for his clients are rare to find. 11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold our house in Buckhurst Hill. Alter and Cope helped immensely throughout the process. They were extremely helpful with the initial valuation and we always got feedback from viewings. They were also on hand to accommodate us logistically for the viewings. After we found the buyer they were always responsive and helpful to any questions we had. A sale can be stressful but they made our lives a lot easier with constant, helpful and responsive communication. 10/10
