22nd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)The worst letting agency out there. Getting them to support the tenant with anything is like pulling teeth. We’ve been asking and filing requests for over 4 months to have Connells send one to take a look at our kitchen sink, and it still hasn’t happened. They keep passing blame around to building maintenance, to the landlord, but never actually taking any action to support the tenant. On top of that, the communication comes whenever Connells feels like it. They set response timelines which are rarely adhered to and even when they do communicate, it’s nothing of substance. Avoid at all costs!

Throughout my entire tenancy, the team, especially Kamal, Sheetal and Jyothy were incredibly professional and transparent. Any issues were handled promptly, and communication was always clear and honest. It’s rare to find an agency that maintains such high standards over such a long period. I truly felt like a valued tenant and would highly recommend Sonia estates and the team to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy agency."

I felt genuinely looked after and valued throughout the entire process, and I honestly can't recommend them enough. 5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)????? I cannot recommend Oliver & Akers highly enough, especially Wendy, who was absolutely outstanding throughout my home-buying journey. After searching for around six months and viewing multiple properties with different estate agents, I still hadn’t found the right place. I then made an online enquiry about a property that had unfortunately already been sold but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because that’s when Wendy stepped in. From that moment on, Wendy went above and beyond. She took the time to truly understand exactly what I was looking for in terms of price, location, and the type of home I wanted. Thanks to her dedication and persistence, she helped me secure the ideal flat in the right location, at the right price, and without any stress. Wendy was incredibly supportive before, during, and even after the purchase. She was always responsive, professional, approachable, and genuinely cared about making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. He was endlessly polite, unbelievably patient, and answered every single one of our questions with kindness and clarity. Truly, what a gentleman! Buying a property is usually stressful, but Richard made the entire experience feel so much easier and far less daunting. His support and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. When we next decide to move, Lowthers will be the only agents we even consider. I will be recommending them to absolutely everyone I know!
13th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!

The photos showed a flat in perfect condition, but when I arrived, workers were inside and the entire flat was in a broken, unfinished state. Wasted my 2 hours.<br>The owner, Anthony, was extremely unprofessional and did not bother to answer basic questions. His attitude was disrespectful and showed no concern for potential tenants.<br>Avoid at all costs.

Mark was really friendly and facilitated a good discussion of our needs, showing great depth of local knowledge. He has provided us with an extremely useful market appraisal, which will really help us to plan our future actions. This was a very quick and efficient service, for which we are extremely grateful, and one we would thoroughly recommend

They look after the management of our estate and have made many improvements, all of which have had a really positive impact. Joanna and her team are professional, approachable, and easy to communicate with, always keeping us informed and addressing any issues promptly. It’s reassuring to know our estate is being managed so well, and I would highly recommend Joanna and the team at Novus Residential.
12th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.

Writing this sitting on my sofa in my new house; I don't think I could have done it without the Martyn Gerrard staff behind me; Dinesh, Afina and Zac all have been amazing; professional, compassionate, extremely patient and most importantly empathetic. Can't thank you all enough for my happy ending and beginning.
