From start to finish, the entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism, efficiency, and care. The team at Lanes went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, whether it was providing regular updates, answering my endless questions, or offering expert advice at key stages. Their local knowledge of Enfield Town is second to none, and it was clear they genuinely cared about finding the best outcome for me. From the very first property viewing, Sophie made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I attended the viewing with my children, who were understandably very excited and eager to explore every room while asking endless questions. Sophie was so warm, patient, and kind with all of us, never once making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. Her calm and caring nature instantly put us at ease. As we progressed through the application process, referencing, credit checks, and all of the tenancy paperwork, Sophie continued to exceed every expectation I had. Every phone call was answered, every email responded to promptly, and every question no matter what she met with patience, professionalism, and reassurance. 23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Extremely disappointed with the service from this agency. I arranged a same-day viewing with Yovin. I arrived on time and parked directly behind his vehicle. The viewing took no more than 5 minutes, but when I stepped outside, a parking attendant was issuing me a ticket. Shockingly, the attendant was speaking with Yovin and did not fine him, despite Yovin not displaying a permit either. Instead of looking out for a client or speaking up, Yovin just stepped in his car without bothering, showing a complete lack of basic professionalism or care. The double standard and indifferent attitude from the agent were incredibly unprofessional. Looked almost like collusion. I will certainly not be dealing with this agency again. Edit in response to the below: Your response response shows the callous attitude of the Estate Agency not just the specific agent. I understand the parking ticket is outside the remit of the EA, what I'm surprised about was the estate agents response. The EA was there when I got the ticket he was just parked ahead of my car, he spoke to the parking attendant as though he knows him and didn't get a ticket not moved his car, so tour response below, holds no value.
16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)We’ve been super impressed with Mi Homes and how they have helped us with our search - strong local market knowledge, highly professional, quick and clear communication with balanced and realistic assessment on opportunities, and very well polished / detailed presentation on homes that they are selling. In particular, Louisa, is an outstanding agent, going above-and-beyond to help get the deal over the line, and a real credit to the team there! Her colleague, Daniel, also is excellent at viewings with friendly, punctual, and helpful manner. Definitively worth trusting with either selling or buying your home!

She has always kept me updated with new properties and consistently made me feel that someone was genuinely thinking about me and my baby throughout this journey. Her support, dedication, and compassion have meant so much to me, and I cannot express how grateful I am. Sedan is a true star and an incredible asset to Cottage Fields. Because of the outstanding service she has provided, I will not hesitate to return to Cottage Fields in the future and would highly recommend them to others. 22nd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this agency during my attempted purchase of Wightman Road has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>I submitted a revised offer of £450,000 subject to several specific matters being regularised, including lease and title issues. Although I was later informed that the seller had agreed to the price, I never received written confirmation that all of the conditions attached to my offer had been accepted, nor was an updated Memorandum of Sale issued.<br><br>Over several weeks, I repeatedly requested updates and clarification by email and WhatsApp, but many of my enquiries went unanswered. The prolonged lack of communication and absence of formal documentation ultimately caused me to lose confidence in the transaction.<br><br>I formally withdrew from the purchase on 2 June 2026 and requested the return of my holding deposit. At the time of writing, I have still received no substantive response to my formal complaint and no confirmation of when my deposit will be returned.<br><br>Property transactions can be complicated, and deals do fall through. However, clear communication, timely responses and transparency should be the minimum standard that buyers can expect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I was always provided with timely feedback and clear answers to my questions.<br>As a first-time buyer, the process can feel overwhelming, but the team was reassuring, helpful, and always available to provide guidance whenever needed. Their support made a significant difference and helped make the journey much smoother.<br>In the end, it all concluded successfully, and I am truly grateful for their assistance. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive team.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Mine was a complex situation with the move but I had so much support from Matthew.<br>He worked so hard to ensure the sale of my house and purchase of my flat went as smoothly as possible.<br>He was really easy to reach and I was kept up to date throughout.<br>I would strongly recommend them, especially as my house sold straight away, and for the asking price!<br>I honestly can’t thank them enough.

She listened to all of our needs and requests and did everything to make sure they were met. She was always available, even when she wasn’t on the clock, which was so reassuring as it was our first time renting with Foxtons. The move in was so smooth and all that was made possible with Sephorah’s help!

His explanation of the service and the people at Thomas James Estate Agents was open, honest, and reassuring, which is what ultimately led us to choose them over other agents in the area. The sales process took four and a half months from engagement to completion, and throughout that time we were kept fully informed via a WhatsApp group set up specifically for our property. This made communication incredibly easy, allowing us to ask and answer questions quickly, and ensured the team remained proactive in driving the sale through to completion. We were extremely happy with the seamless process and the genuine care and attention shown by the team—Tom, James, Claire, and Elliot (with special mention to Elliot) at Thomas James Estate Agents. We cannot recommend them highly enough; you would be foolish not to consider them.
