10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Well I must say that after all the negative stories you hear about Estate agents I can honestly say that my experience of Brian Thomas Estate Agents was completely positive. From initial engagement of their services, marketing, viewings and communication, all aspects were excellent. We would like to personally thank Paul Wallace who helped us through the sale of our home, who went over and above what was expected of him as far as we understood, nothing was a problem for him. During this very stressful time he kept us fully up to date, reassured us and guided throughout. He protected us from the start with regard to finding the right buyer who was ready financially to purchase our home. There were quite a few hurdles during the process that Paul helped us through as well as advising, liasing and negotiating. He also chased very poor solicitors on our behalf that had caused unnecessary delays in finalising exchange and completion of contracts. I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that I recommended Paul @Brian Thomas Estates in the Woodford, Wanstead, Buckhurst Hill Chigwell areas and around N/E London and borders of West Essex. You will not find a better person for the sale of your home. Thank you again!!

10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)I have dealt with Bryants several times over the years. I usually do not stick to one agent and shop around with every new instruction. On the occasions when I used their services, I find them to be knowledgeable and helpful. Les and Karl were always on the other end of the line, and they have both helped me with pre move in maintenance issues in order to get last minute rental move ins. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

27th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience renting through Regent. Any faults with the property are quickly remediated, and the agency is very responsive to queries in general. Renewal of my tenancy was handled quickly and professionally by my agent James. Looking forward to a continued tenancy!
10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Average experience. Lack of transparency and urgency in completing the sale procedure. It took 6 months from acceptance of offer to complete the deal. Lack of continuity from one person in dealing with customer. Sandeep and Jas were always helpful. Nakhita who was dealing with our case in last few months was very unprofessional and unapproachable, rude , abrupt and at times very disrespectful. Not happy with Nakhita’s behaviour at all. Sandeep was a big help indeed.

Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!

18th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)Communication overall was poor, and the final sale price ended up materially below what had been pitched and discussed at the outset. More concerning was the conduct from Yaseen, on the finance side, where agreed written terms were later disputed and the matter was escalated unnecessarily, including multiple threats of court action, before the correct position was eventually accepted after some push back. The issue was ultimately resolved, but the process fell short of the level of professionalism I would expect. I would recommend others ensure everything is clearly documented and reviewed before proceeding, if at all.

30th Nov 2025 (15 weeks ago)When we called to enquire about a property the guy just hung up in the middle of conversation. Clearly these shows how unskilled uneducated mannerless these people are. Just lacks basic decency not to mention there was no sign of professionalism. Also they have lied about availability of other properties when called earlier. Avoid them like a plague.

A special mention to Agent Ganesh, who was very professional, responsive, and helpful at every step. He explained everything clearly, arranged viewings promptly, and ensured the handover went smoothly. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended.
18th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)Eight and a half years ago I turned to Mcdowalls to rent a house, after so many years I received notice that the landlord wants to sell the house. All this time they have been very efficient regarding the defects, supportive and understanding. Now we are signing for the second one to move into another house with them. And when I say,,ALL WITH" I mean: Lisa Brown the same person eight and a half years ago, the same person now with whom I am signing Her colleagues who make an extraordinary team, and of course I would like to thank the landlord too.
9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I am disgusted by the way [Cranbrook letting Ltd] treats people. We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."

23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.

1st Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would like to thank Svetlana in Sales, and in particular Martine in Sales Progression at B&S, who played a pivotal role in successfully guiding our purchase to completion. Although B&S acted for us solely on the purchase, I had extensive contact with Martine throughout the process. She was an excellent mediator between all parties during what were, at times, very challenging circumstances. There was a point at which the stress of the process almost led us to withdraw entirely, but Martine’s professionalism, calm approach, and strong communication skills helped navigate a way forward. Despite being under considerable pressure herself, she worked tirelessly to negotiate solutions and keep matters moving. While I am sure any of the Sales Progressors would have shown the same commitment, I am particularly grateful to have worked with Martine. Svetlana was consistently warm, approachable, and accommodating during viewings and in our phone conversations. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Her final voicemail on completion was especially touching, and it genuinely felt as though she was as pleased for us as we were ourselves. Huge thanks to B&S for their help and support throughout this process.
