Then they let themselves down and me, if anyone wanted to view they told them drive past and if you like it make an appointment, since when do people buy house by driving by. No feed back at all I think good opertunities were squandered a lazy team.

I recently bought our new home from Allen and Harris estate agents in Wells and found them to be very helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Ollie and Daisy were always responsive to my queries and requests and helped move the sale process along with good communication between parties, so even though I know they were engaged by the seller, I still felt my purchase was in good hands from their side. They even gave me a treat box of tea and discount vouchers on completion, which came in very handy for a brew on moving day and for buying my new fridge freezer with the bonus of £30 off! Such a nice gesture from Allen and Harris, what's not to like! A very good experience of buying a home from them. 5*- This agent doesn't have any reviews

11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)Updated review Upon leaving the property I was quite annoyed that deductions of £100 were passed to me for the following: - Less than a meter squared area of carpet needed a cleaning extra due to being at the front door. - 4 drops of dirt again needed removing. - the bottom of a cupboard needed wiping. My opinion is this would be 30 minutes work and no where near £100 worth of cleaning. What was more frustrating was after giving abbot and frost my response saying the cost is too high, I was pretty much ignored (or felt like I was) for 24 hours. I then emailed them again saying I just wanted my deposit back so accept the charge and within minutes it’s processed and they take the deduction. It comes across that they ignore you until you just accept what they state. Which is annoying as they were so good to start with. Original review A really good experience viewing several property’s with Debbie and the team today. What is also amazing is the communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.
