4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Great service from Robin Jessop Ltd. A special mention to Lauren in Bedale who was superb. It was a difficult sale as our associated house purchase was a little fraught. Thank you to everyone involved.<br>Jessops are not the cheapest agents, but you get what you pay for. And as I have had experience of four different local estate agents in the last three years, I would still go for Jessops in the future if we needed to.<br>Thank you to all involved
20th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)Had our viewing cancelled at very short notice. We travelled from Weston Super Mare, we waited at the property as we did not know the viewing had been cancelled. Finally gave up and drove all the way back home only to find a message on our answerphone to say the viewing had been cancelled. Waste of time.

We originally used Love property as a letting agent (above comments). They now acted for us in a sale. Their professionalism and dedication continued. Thoroughly recommend.

Stacy valued the property and marketed it at what I thought was the most realistic price from the 3 valuations I had received. The property was only on the market for 2 weeks and 3 days before I received 2 offers for the full asking price.

Their persistence, chasing everyone involved, made all the difference.<br><br>They were also incredibly flexible in allowing us to view the property when needed, and their communication throughout the entire process was outstanding.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Rachel and Georgie and Caroline, who truly went above and beyond for us. They were always helpful, responsive, and kept us updated every step of the way. First, there is no way to actually speak to them on the phone — when I called, a voice message specifically stated that you cannot call them directly and I had to leave a message instead. For an estate agency, that is ridiculous.<br><br>I was visiting Ormskirk from another part of the UK and only in the area for a few hours. While driving in the area, I spotted a property I was interested in, so I made the effort to drive to their branch in person. I was met by a saleswoman from their team, who was cold and frankly snooty. Every question I asked was met with a long-winded "no" and zero useful information.<br><br>I am a seasoned property investor, part of the largest property network in the UK and Europe, and I regularly buy houses. Through their unhelpfulness and her dismissive attitude, they have lost not just my business but business from my wider network. I will not be using GR Estates again, and based on my experience I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

Excellent communication, super friendly, good updates, prompt replies... I have heard stories of sellers' estate agents being difficult when you're the buyer, but this is the complete opposite.
