My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.

6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.
3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I would strongly advise anyone considering Rettie Newton Mearns for mortgage or remortgage services to think carefully before proceeding.<br>My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. During my remortgage, I experienced poor communication, unnecessary delays, and a lack of ownership when problems arose. Issues with the handling of the Standard Security paperwork caused significant stress and wasted a considerable amount of my time.<br>Despite paying a £549 broker fee, I did not receive the professional service I expected. In the end, I remained with my existing lender after going through an unnecessarily frustrating process.<br>What disappointed me most was the way my complaint was handled. I raised my concerns and expected Rettie to acknowledge the shortcomings and resolve the matter fairly. Instead, I have received no meaningful resolution or compensation.<br>My dealings were primarily with Roland Brownlee and Megan Gordon at the Rettie Newton Mearns branch, and unfortunately my overall experience with the service I received was very poor.<br>Based on my personal experience, I would not use Rettie again, nor would I recommend Rettie Newton Mearns to friends or family. There are many mortgage brokers available, and I would encourage potential customers to do thorough research before choosing this branch.
16th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)Had the privilege of working with Scott who helped me greatly in setting my property up initially as I purchased it on auction and so it was quite dilapidated and he helped in organising the refurbishment and brining it up to compliance. Further down the line I also had the privilege of working with Alex who helped me a great deal with giving me a fair and honest assessment of so many properties and the areas, and gave me very sound sincere advise on which to go for and which not to. He did a good analysis on rental projections. Overall it has been wonderful working with Zone Lettings as a whole.

Craig, Megan, Laura and all of the team were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. By far the best property selling experience that we have had. Would not hesitate in recommending them for any others looking to sell their property in the southside.

We had no idea what to do or where to start. Nicola was recommended and she took us very gently over every stage.<br>She was easy to talk too, lots of experience and guided us through every stage. 14th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)We were moving from Glasgow to Airdrie and came across Arrowhead estate agents as they were selling our new house.We were instantly impressed with Gavin on our first viewing and asked him if he would sell our old house aswell, It was the best decision we could have made.<br>The whole experience from start to finish was seamless. Gavin’s knowledge of the industry and professionalism shone through throughout the process, we felt extremely valued as customers and Gavin was always on hand to answer any questions we had.<br>Gavin and his team managed to sell my house within a fortnight for a price we were very happy with, whilst negotiating the best deal for us with our new purchase, all within a very reasonable rate.<br>We worked with Arrowheads financial adviser Thomas who was also great to work with , Thomas made himself available to us throughout the process and completely removed any stress due to his financial expertise and competence.<br>We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Arrowhead Estate Agents.Due to the teams professionalism , hard work and very high level of customer care , our whole moving experience was enjoyable rather than stressful,and we continue to recommend them far and wide.<br>Thanks again Arrowhead
11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Outstanding service from David, Iain, Craig and the team at Coats & Hall. They came recommended and what a recommendation it was. Within a day of agreeing to use David’s services and in a pretty urgent situation to sell, he had arranged for photographs, videos and home report to be done. This was all completed within days and advertised. Throughout the selling process David and his team were on hand to answer questions 24/7 and replies couldn’t have been any quicker. I definitely would and have already recommended Coats & Hall as an excellent Estate Agents. Thank you and worth every penny.

He kept us updated throughout the whole process and was always transparent about what was happening. We never felt pressured and he was always happy to answer our questions at each stage of the sale. Thanks to Craig, we successfully sold our flat and couldn't be happier with the outcome.
