The property was continuously let throughout that time; Savills always found excellent tenants and provided first-class support, including when a complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken. Special praise goes to Alison Withers and to Leah Cyprus, who were my primary contacts and to whom I am greatly indebted.- 21st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We wanted to say a big thank you for all the help, support and guidance given to us by Doug and Joe during our recent purchase. We were extremely impressed how both of them kept in touch regularly, always returned our calls, even making calls in the evening if necessary. 10th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)Great service and customer support offered by David Doyle and their team to facilitate the sale of our property.<br><br>Property has been on the market for a couple of months because of the buyer's market. Their competition took advantage of this and convinced us to advertise the property with other estate agents in the same time with David Doyle.<br>Although we were under the impression that house views were slow with David Doyle we were in disbelief when none of the other main competitors (won't give names but you can google them) have not been able to provide even one house view in over 8 weeks.<br><br>If you have a property to sale in Hemel, David Doyle is your best option!

We particularly wanted to mention Isobel Clarke who has kept in touch regularly with updates and new properties on to the market, she has always been professional, helpful and friendly and a pleasure to speak with and goes beyond to make you feel valued. We have now found our forever home with Brown & Merry and and going through the buying process with Lucy, there has been excellent communication throughout. From the moment I met Aimee, she instantly understood what I was looking for in a home and was able to show me exactly the right house for my family. She even suggested a property I was hesitant to view, but she knew I’d fall in love with it, and she was right.<br><br>During the completion process I worked with Natasha, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us progress our sale through a chain of five parties and four properties. She worked tirelessly, and honestly I don’t think we could have completed without her.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team.

Ultimately we didn't find our dream home but Leon listened to our brief and adapted a search to suit. Leon is a fine ambassador for Castles and the industry as a whole. We would highly recommend him.
13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I’ve just moved out of a flat I was renting from a private landlord, with Hadlands taking over towards the end of my tenancy. I must say I honestly wasn’t expecting, based on my experience with the very friendly, polite staff there, to be taken advantage of upon vacating the flat we had been renting for just over two years.<br><br>On the morning of our leaving, I had an end of tenancy clean booked that unfortunately was cancelled at very very short notice. So I cleaned the flat myself with a 7 month old baby in tow. Hadlands charged £110 for an oven clean which I fully accept, the oven should be professionally cleaned before new tenants move in, I had no issue at all with that.<br><br>However, they also had the cheek to charge me three hundred great British pounds to clean the flat. Sure, there were a few things I missed, I didn’t clean behind the radiators or on top of the kitchen cabinets and I didn’t clean the dust from the bathroom extractor fan. To add context to my review, I’ve attached pictures of exactly how I left the flat the morning of the last day of our tenancy, I think it’s entirely unreasonable to charge such an extortionate amount and it really put a dampener on leaving a place that was so special to us and one we took good care of throughout our tenancy.<br><br>EDIT: I have attached the invoice for the cleaning charge that apparently had nothing to do with Hadlands. Whilst Hadlands are correct that they didn’t charge me for cleaning directly, this is the charge presented to my landlord, by Hadlands, that they charged to clean the flat which obviously passed down to me at the previous tenant. I stand by my review and will not be removing it as £300 to clean the flat pictured below is an excessive and wholly unreasonable amount to charge.
