3rd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)AVOID AVOID AVOID<br><br>We had our flat on the market with Haart Abbots Langley for 9 months and only had 5 viewings. Constant excuses and lies from the team, no follow ups and meant we were having to chase them throughout (despite being assured that we would get an update every week). Half of our viewings we only found out about when we called to get an update on how things were.<br><br>Shorab, Tom and Jamie were very dismissive throughout and didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on.<br><br>2 flats in the same block as ours sold within 3 weeks of going on the market using different agents for a higher price than what we had ours on for -Haart had driven down the price as they had kept stating it needed to be lower (which ultimately cost us money in the long term). It became very apparent that the issue was Haart and not the flat.<br><br>Switched over to Foxtons Watford and had 3 viewings and had sold within a week. The two estate agents were like night and day.<br><br>Haart were extremely unprofessional and caused nothing but stress whilst we were with them and their only tactic for selling seemed to be lowering the price -which in our case didn’t need to have happened and lost us money. Please look elsewhere when selling -highly recommend Foxtons!

Any questions I had they answered quickly and I felt they went the extra mile to follow up with both parties solicitors and any other third parties involved in the process. Clare and Miles made my buying experience very smooth.

Every question I had was answered clearly and promptly, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to rent a home.

From the very first meeting through to completion, the entire team provided an outstanding level of service, professionalism, and support.<br><br>What impressed us most was that this was truly a team effort. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and fully up to date with our sale. At every stage we felt that everyone was working together towards the same goal: achieving the best possible outcome while making what can often be a stressful process feel calm, manageable, and well organised.<br><br>Oakleys’ understanding of the local Berkhamsted market was exceptional. Their advice on pricing, presentation, marketing, and strategy was thoughtful, realistic, and clearly based on many years of experience. The quality of the marketing materials was first class, viewings were handled professionally, and feedback was always prompt and informative.<br><br>Once the sale was agreed, the team’s commitment was equally apparent. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates and proactive contact, meaning we were never left wondering what was happening. 23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS.<br>Only leaving 1 star as unable to leave 0.<br>We have just purchased a property through Christopher pallet, Colin and Ross are both horrible people. They hound you every day with passive aggressive emails until completion, then once completed if you have any issues they are completely uninterested and ignore you.<br><br>When we had our survey done, it was picked up (among other things) that two of the windows in the property were not working correctly. This was raised when discussing a reduction in price. Ross informed us that the windows would be fixed by the owners before completion. His exacts words were “the owners are going to get the mechanisms fixed, so consider that done”. What a liar. We raised on day one when we entered the property that this had not been done. They have ignored us repeatedly on phone calls and emails, and have now replied saying they are not going to do anything to help this. I’d honestly rather not sell or purchase a property than give this morally corrupt “business” any commission. I will be making a formal complaint to the property ombudsman and seeking legal advice.<br><br>Edit<br><br>I’m sure the reader of this review can tell how condescending and passive aggressive Ross is just from his reply. ????????????

11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)We first met Jacqui, the branch manager of Frosts in February to value my late mothers property for probate. Out of the three separate agents who attended , she was by far the most friendly and professional with an eye for detail. Based on this, we chose Frosts to handle the sale. What should have been a straight forward chain free transaction turned out to be time consuming and difficult not to mention stressful! Jacqui however was always supportive and "on the case". Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to her, the transaction eventually completed and we are so grateful. We highly recommend Frosts. Their A1 service is second to none.

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
