7th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Mr. Colin McKenzie, the Abbotfox Norwich office Branch manager/partner was most helpful to me. He knew the market well and ,quoted me the correct price for the property so I got offers quickly. It was a vacant property for some time and he connected me with an insurance agent that carried insurance on vacant properties, which on my own, I would have never been able to. He was prompt, and took photos of my place in less than 24 hours to expedite the listing of the property. He was diligent and fast, and arranged for the cleaning crew so the property could be shown asap. Later on, there were some obstacles with the gas meter installation etc, he went above and beyond and researched the different suppliers of the gas meters and installation and arranged for them to do the testing. He spent a lot of time on my little property. . He also had a very agile mind and formulated different scenarios and the pros and cons of each action taken, so that I could come to an easy and logical decision. He was very kind and understood my situation and the urgency of selling the property . Even when the buyer had difficult demands, Colin never gave up encouraging me to soldier on, and now today, the sale was completed and I am very happy and grateful to Colin.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

Any questions we had about the property were answered within 24 hours, and it really feels like they went the extra mile. In particular I'd like to thank Isabella for her help throughout this purchase - I hope her manager is reading this; she deserves some recognition!
6th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We sold two properties through Abbots quickly and without problems. Josh was knowledgeable about the local area, professional and friendly. Did a much better job than the more expensive agent we tried previously.

They made sure we were updated every step of the way with the sale of the bungalow and provided some very useful local information. I am very thankful for their support and guidance in making the process stress free!
20th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I enquired about a rental property and I was told that I wasn’t going to be a suitable tenant based on my age and because I have children. I note that both of these factors are directly or indirectly to protected characteristics and this represents discrimination in breach of Pointens’ obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Further I note that this conduct in relation of tenant screening is due to become directly unlawful under the new laws coming into force on 1st May 2026, so for tenancies starting on or after 1st May which the one I enquired about likely would, this is questionably unlawful now.
10th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)According to Google moving house is the third most difficult life event, but the team at Watson were wonderfully supportive through the whole process. From taking photos at the beginning to finally handing over the keys to the new owner they were always there with kindly help. They were there to advise and assist with the several problems that arose by being in a chain of buyers and sellers. Often a member of the team would provide information to facilitate progress to the next stage even if it did not directly involve them. We are very grateful for their friendly advice and efforts.

We were fortunate to work with them on both the sale of our current property and the purchase of a new home, and the process was seamless on both counts. Their communication was excellent, and the team's friendly and knowledgeable approach made the experience stress-free. They were diligent in keeping us updated throughout, which was invaluable given the complexities of buying and selling simultaneously. We couldn't have asked for a better service and highly recommend Arnold Keys to anyone considering buying or selling a property.

With special mention to Hannie Theobald who kept us informed, updated and who handled negotiations and other parties involved with true care and attention. She definately goes above and beyond, and I believe the chain would have broken several times if it was not for her ability to listen, and find solutions. She is everything an estate agent should be, and more.

They were the only agents not to come across as pushy or 'salesly' during our initial meeting and their valuation was realistic and spot-on what we ended up selling for. Communication was great and their local market knowledge so impressive that they managed to find us a buyer prior to even listing our property.

5th May 2026 (4 days ago)We decided to market our property through Spalding & Co. Ltd. after considering several other local agents. Mario (Residential Manager) impressed us with his marketing appraisal and sales approach. He is extremely courteous and has great enthusiasm. We were very happy with the brochure Spalding & Co. Ltd. produced. The quality of the photographs taken by John were excellent. He even took the time on the external shots to avoid shadows from the clouds! Charley (Sales Negotiator/Administrator) conducted the majority of the viewings and was our point of contact thereafter. Charley was great, diligently following up after viewings and providing us with feedback. She also dealt swiftly with any matters arising in the sales process. Charley has a friendly, cheery nature and it was always a pleasure to speak with her. Rose (Director) was also proactive and efficient in assisting with the sale process when needed. In summary we received exemplary service from the whole team at Spalding & Co. Ltd. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell or purchase a property in the area.

From the initial viewing right through to exchange, she was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble—she was incredibly helpful in arranging access to the property so we could measure up, double-check details, and get a real feel for the space. She also went the extra mile in helping us find answers to all sorts of questions (even down to things like paint colours), which made a big difference. Thank you so much, Karen, for your support and professionalism. My old home was definitely sold, not just marketed, and I love that the new owners are looking forward to making new memories in it.
