31st Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)D R Kivell, in our experience, perform very well. We have been involved with them on two fairly significant transactions, and have also recommended them to friends. On each occasion, the outcome has been significantly more successful than major, well known, prestigious firms, which seemed surprising? Their response times are far quicker than the major firms, too. I'm fairly cynical about estate agents in general, as they tend to make promises and predictions that they don't then actually achieve - but I can honestly say that D R Kivell, each time, have achieved what they promised, and in good time! David Kivell seems very professional - I'm from a legal and commercial property background, and I rather grilled him about whether his predictions were achievable, and he stuck to his guns, and achieved exactly what he'd said. They seem good at valuations, too. Peter Palmer seems more like a wise, experienced farmer, and therefore very friendly and helpful. And he's a good photographer. Geoff Lupton seems to be the very helpful and efficient guy who keeps everything on track. Based on our own experiences, I've formed a very high opinion of them.

Absolutely NO interest, personable approach or motivation in presentation! In short personality and sales approach of a cold fish!

7th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)My thanks to James. We purchased our house almost two years ago through Millers Countrywide. Having carried out the recommended survey work on the exterior of the property, we were interested to find out how this had affected the value of the property. James very kindly carried out a valuation without any commitment knowing we had no intent in moving. He managed to carry out the survey on the day. Fabulous service, very grateful, thank you.

26th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)A good job well done.- 28th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)The agent valued our house and told us that they would get 20 people in straight away for viewings. This was the main reason that we went with them. They told us that they had hundreds of people on their books looking for properties in our area. Needless to say, as soon as we signed the contract, there wasn't one single viewing booked in. Eventually we had one viewing and were told that the gentleman loved it and would like a second viewing with his wife. That never materialised and I was continually chasing the agent for feedback. As we were approaching 6 months with Stratton Creaber and had only had one viewing, we served notice on the contract and instantly had another viewing booked in. Again, we were told that the couple loved the property but had others to view and would get back to them the following week. To date, we have had no feedback from that whatsoever. We were told that there would be a video of our property in the advertising, however, this was just a few photographs strung together with the name of the road over them - they could not get the name of the road correct so even that "video" could not be used. The valuation that we were given at the first visit was one that we were happy with, any less and we would not have put the house up for sale. When the agent returned with the contract for signing, he had put the price at £25k less than that discussed previously. When I said that it had to be at the original price discussed, he said that the commission on any sale would be calculated on the asking price, not the selling price because of this! After over 40 years of home ownership and dealing with numerous estate agents over those years, I can honestly say that this has been our worst experience of an estate agent and would absolutely not recommend them.

Steer well clear.- 25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Confident but not arrogant agent. Good knowledge of the area and was able to until confidence in me that she will do all she can to sell the property. Once on the market she arranged viewings very quickly, making me feel confident she is pushing my house to buyers and making it noticed. She provided good advice and guidance about offers leading to an asking price within and a bit above my expectations. She is proactive in the process of the sale now and I feel confident in her driving the sale to completion. Only draw back is the fee which is higher than all other agencies.

21st Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Disclaimer: We were looking for a commercial lease and did not proceed however we were impressed with the service and communication from Thomas. We cannot report on the experience after this point. We were interested in a property in Truro and had Thomas Hewitt show us around. He arrived promptly and was respectful. He gave us clear updates each step of the way after the viewing up until the heads of terms. Unfortunately due to external circumstances we were unable to pursue the lease beyond this point, however we were impressed with such frequent updates from the agent even if it's to say when I can expect a response to the questions we asked. Thank you for your time, hopefully we can be back in the future with our financials in order.

30th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)Fantastic company to deal with, Tiff and the crew were so helpful helping me find a rental property at short notice at the beginning on the year, They were all very quick to respond to any questions or issues I initially had. 6 months on I’m loving my new home. ???? thanks guys

Extremely rude and arrogant staff. Please stay away. They don't seem to know the difference between rising damp and dirty marks on the wall. Totally unprofessional.

6th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Rosie Marlow is everything you should expect from an estate agent ,sadly experience has been very poor. Rosie is very proactive ,knowledgeable,enthusiastic and has made the process of selling our apartment relatively stress free upto now.
