Sold our property within a couple of months but had the most demanding cash buyer, who wanted everything done at her pace. Andrew and the team handled everything quickly and professionally, even though we were getting extremely frustrated with her demands. Sale completed and a big thank you to all. Would definitely recommend ??????

Both Clare and Katie were very helpful during the whole rental process, answering all my questions and going the extra mile to provide an excellent service. I’d recommend Lime Living highly to anyone who may require their services.
6th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

You get the full experience from first touch with Annie the owner for the valuation and photos and then once sold, amazing contract chasing from Abi who is outstanding. We will be selling another home in October and will certainly be using Northwood again. Great work team and thank you so much Abi for all of your hard work, updates and assistance with both viewings, feedback (when you had to cover) and contract chasing, bringing in all parties to exchange.
22nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)My experience with Bagshaws Bakewell was consistently poor from start to finish.<br>Across the full 20?week contract, the property generated only four viewings, and no meaningful strategy, communication, or performance management was provided at any stage. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, no feedback from any viewings, and basic actions, and there was no proactive attempt to address the lack of progress.Despite the clear underperformance, Bagshaws insisted on enforcing the full contract term, offering no flexibility and no review of their service. Even removing the listing required multiple follow?ups before anything was actioned.I have since submitted a formal complaint to the Property Ombudsman (TPO) regarding the service, communication, and contract enforcement.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bagshaws Bakewell.
17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)I bought my rental apartment through Frank Innes, and always found the staff at the Chesterfield office to be friendly and eager to help. I was so satisfied with their service that I now use them to rent the property for me. Issues and queries are dealt with quickly, and it's always a pleasure to pop into the office when necessary. I can highly recommend them.<br><br>UPDATE<br>Agency has been gobbled up by Countrywide. I now get communications from numerous locations except Chesterfield. Maintenance is managed from Mansfield, by a team who don't know the building and who use Mansfield tradesmen, costing me time and money. EG: 4 months over winter to fix a simple electric heater, using a gas boiler company when an electrician or even handyman would have been fine. Almost £500 for a panel that might have cost £50-60.

Laura, who dealt with our sale was great at keeping us updated with every little detail so we were always in the loop.<br><br>Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to sell your house any time soon!

They were efficient, excellent communicators, and nothing was ever too much trouble.<br><br>My house sold within 24 hours of going on the market and for more than the asking price. Despite challenges with our onward purchase and receiving very few updates from the other estate agent involved, Chloe and her team went above and beyond to chase information on our behalf and keep things moving.<br><br>Their professionalism, dedication and support made a stressful process much easier. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

28th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Through out the year, general expectations of a letting agency were met. However, due to a couple instances, this rules out a good review.<br><br>One - they lied about attending a property when a fire risk was present, protecting their maintenance crew rather than admitting fault on their behalf. This was extremely concerning as all of our belongings including the house could have been destroyed!<br><br>Two - at the end of the tenancy, they charged their flat rate of £50 for a mattress clean for a tiny (1inchx1inch) brown mark, when the mattress was already measured by their own metric as ‘7’ meaning ‘minor marks or minor signs of wear and tear’. Then lied about the proceedings of the deposit return - stating that they would take all of the deposit if they did not accept our counter offer after three attempts via a 3rd party, causing our lead tenant to send a lower offer of £25, worried that they would take the whole deposit. However, this was a lie and this is not how the 3rd party operated, but it was too late to retrieve the offer once it has been accepted.<br>Additionally a mattress clean costs £50 or it doesn’t, the fact they even took our lower offer of £25 reveals they were just out for a quick cash grab, disgusting<br><br>All in all, MCR Move has a track record of a lying, do not go with them! Plenty of better agencies out there!
18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Had a great experience buying a property through Let Property. Sales process started with a tough negotiation and completion was pretty smooth. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

29th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)I can highly-recommend Phil from EweMove Dronfield and would like to add mine to his long list of glowing reviews: First and foremost Phil is a nice bloke. He is honest, trustworthy and reliable. Secondly, with Phil you'll get a very professional and personalised service - EweMove also charge very competitive rates, so you will do well to find an all-round better package than this (I don't think you will) I'm a perfectionist who can find fault in most things, but I couldn't fault Phil. My house was sold and a memorandum of sale issued to all parties in ONE week. In addition, I was not living at the property or in the area at the time of sale. Phil went above and beyond meeting surveyors at the property and also the buyer to measure up for furniture. Absolute first-class service from start to finish. Do yourself a favour and avoid the usual high street chains and give Phil a call. It's literally like having a trusted friend sell your house for you. Thank you Phil !! ????????????
31st Jul 2026 (23 days ago)Very poor communication, and I regret paying for their service.<br><br>After taking my payment, I sent numerous emails simply asking whether it had been received, yet received no response. That level of communication is disappointing.<br><br>Following the survey report, I was particularly concerned about Japanese knotweed and bamboo. The report stated that there was “no evidence of such plants within the grounds of the property.” For peace of mind, I emailed several times asking them to confirm this, but again, I received no reply.<br><br>Then on completion day, I discovered bamboo shoots growing in my garden.<br><br>Whether they were missed during the inspection or not, the complete lack of communication after I raised my concerns was unacceptable.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and would advise others to look elsewhere.

Throughout the whole process they were the most efficient and lovely people to deal with that actually went above and beyond helping us secure our sale and see it through to completion as smoothly as possible.<br>We dealt with Ross who valued our house and started the process who’s always great and then Lucy and Becky throughout the rest of the process and they were absolutely brilliant. Both absolute forces to be reckoned with and exactly who you want during an already stressful process! Have been and will continue to recommend Haus to everyone we know, thank you so much again.
