Daniel Rees, the agent at Savilles, made the process of buying as smooth as it could be. He was a calm, thoughtful and easy to communicate with throughout the process. They know their market inside out, gave me a good valuation, arranged several viewings and we had an offer close to the asking price in only 3 weeks. Happy to recommend this company! (N.B. We have not yet completed as the Brecon property market has been very busy with longer waits than usual for surveyors and solicitors.)
4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)I was supposed to view a rental property with clee llandovery on a Saturday, to be told that the viewing was no longer available....are clee just in it for the views?! To be let down last minute is disgusting no wonder these properties stay on the market for months on end..if only the owners knew!!

They understand the local market, did a really professional job with the photos and video for the marketing, and regularly updated me on viewings and outcomes. Thanks to their excellent advice, we sold my Dad's property at the end of November 24. The team are friendly, professional and excellent at their job. There is no need to look elsewhere!- 22nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We haven't actually bought a property through Richard Close at McCartneys in Llandrindod Wells, but we have dealt with him during our recent house search and have been incredibly impressed. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and genuinely helpful throughout, and by far the best estate agent we have dealt with over the course of many house moves. A real credit to McCartneys and the profession, and someone we would have no hesitation in recommending.

20th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)We put our late father's property up for sale through John Francis back in April this year, and I must say that I was really impressed by the service that we received from the staff in the Lampeter branch from start to finish. Everyone that I dealt with was friendly, efficient, and nothing was too much bother for them; Kyle was particularly helpful. We were given clear options on how to best market the property, and received regular updates on how the property was performing against other similar properties in the area. John Francis managed all viewings and communicated these to us clearly, and promptly. The house was sold and completed within a very short time of being on the market. I have dealt with other estate agents in the past, but can honestly say, that in my opinion, John Francis is by far the best. Should I be in a position to sell another property again in the near future, I shall certainly use John Francis.

13th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)When telling your clients the package, tell them the whole package and don't give them disinformation. £999 was what we were verbally told until house was sold. Not for six months marketing. Shocking tactics, to then tell you that the marketing is buried deep in the terms and conditions. Shame on you, I hope you can sleep at night.
