4th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)has been abit of a rollercoaster with trying to get the sale moving and underway,but thanks to matteo and Alex neil, everything went according to plan. Matteo has been a great help, very responsive to emails and calls and even managed to assist with last minute emergencies which the buyer placed upon us in the last minute/days, but chaos was averted, thanks to matteo, professional, efficient and reliable. First as our rental agent and property manager for 9 years, then as our selling agent in our final year of ownership. Dave, Nikki, David, Paul, Keira and Luke - a superb team that brought expertise and professional leadership consistently. In that time they found us 2 long-term tenants, with each staying over 4 years. No void periods, no problems and we received prompt notification of anything in the house needed attention from us. The sales team worked hard to negotiate in our favor, brining the sale to completion with minimal back and forth. 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend Beaumont Gibbs.

4th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would never recommend someone to work with Johns and Co! I have had a tenant and without fail since the tenant has moved in the rent has never been paid on time. When they found this tenant they called me and pressured me everyday to say this would be a good tenant and how he was a student abroad and the country the student was from a country where they paid for their accommodation. There is not one month I have received this rent on time! I can’t stress enough do not use Johns and Co at no circumstance if you don’t want to be ripped off and stressed out!

From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to help us find the perfect place. He even showed us the property remotely while we were still on our flight to London and supported us through all the final arrangements. The entire team at the agency also deserves recognition for their excellent service and attention. We’re truly grateful for their help and highly recommend them!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From start to finish, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Alexander went above and beyond to make everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. He was always quick to answer questions, kept me well informed, and showed real care in making sure everything was handled properly. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and approachable in this industry. The whole experience felt efficient and well-managed, and I always felt supported at every step. If you’re looking for an estate agent who truly goes the extra mile, I would definitely recommend Parkes—and especially Alexander.

They took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, offered thoughtful guidance, and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. Their communication was exceptional - always quick to respond, clear, and proactive, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well-organised. They were both warm and personable, highly knowledgeable, and I always felt I was in very capable hands. Although I didn’t end up securing the property as I was unfortunately outbid, the level of service I received never dropped. They remained positive, encouraging, and committed throughout, which really stood out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marsh & Parsons - particularly Harry and Saskia - to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and high-quality estate agency service.
