12th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!
2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Williams and Donovan were fantastic to deal with. Really friendly, very efficient and excellent communications. Stephanie, my sales progressor, in particular was stand out! It was a difficult & complicated chain with numerous issues lower down and she kept pushing it along, solving problems that were not even hers to solve.<br>The entire team were excellent and a very refreshing change after dealing with a crap agency previously who really should aspire to do much better.

They give honest advice, extremely knowledgeable in both buying and valuations. Connells Billericay brings a unique and refreshing approach to the estate agency business and would highly recommend to anyone.
31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently purchased a house that was on the market with Richard Poyntz. Rob was absolutely brilliant at keeping in touch and letting me know what was going on. He always returned my emails and phone calls very quickly and was a pleasure to talk to. In my opinion he went above and beyond what was expected of him. Many thanks, everything he did was very much appreciated.

20th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)We recently sold our house with Wayne's help, and we were very happy with the service provided. ParaBar clearly have in-depth knowledge of the local market, and this led to our house selling quickly and for more than other agents had indicated. Wayne in particular was excellent - he was always friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond. It was our first time selling and he carefully guided us through the process, even doing all he could to help us secure our onward purchase. Wayne was easy to contact when needed, but also gave us regular updates and advice throughout. Overall an excellent experience, and a much better one that we had anticipated. We'd easily recommend Wayne and ParaBar to anyone looking to buy or sell in Billericay.

My sale took longer than usual because of some issues in the process , but Donna gave her full attention to this and was completely dedicated to chasing the solicitors and updating me as quick as she could. Donna went over and above for me, even replying to emails on her day off. Thanks so much.

11th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)I chose Amos Estate Agents as they are so involved in the community in Hockley. They genuinely care. Selling through them was a pleasure. They answered all questions promptly and with care. They chased whenever I asked and were an amazing conduit between myself and the buyers. Please consider Amos if you are thinking of selling. The whole team are caring, polite and courteous. They showed enthusiasm when conducting viewings of my home, which had various offers within 2 weeks of being on the market. The photographs taken were so professional.

They have been so patient with us, more than accommodating and fitting us in such late notice for a viewing which I really appreciated! I would recommend to both buyers and sellers. They are genuinely lovely people! Thank you both again for everything!

They successfully sold our house, found a buyer, and even secured one for our buyer's property too, handling the chain smoothly even though our chain was more complex than usual with staggered complete dates. Despite the initial salesperson leaving early on, the team and in particular Georgia Yexley kept us well informed throughout. The sale took nearly a year, but that was due to issues with the owner of our initial purchase choice, not Balgores. They got the job done.

17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)After 10 months on the market with another agent in Grays, I genuinely thought my house was never going to sell.<br><br>In all that time I only had 5 viewings and no offers. I hardly ever heard from the agent unless I chased them, and I was getting more and more frustrated as the months went by.<br><br>I had a leaflet through the door from Carter Remy offering a free valuation and, to be honest, I nearly binned it. I’m glad I didn’t.<br><br>They came round, had a look round the house and explained what they would do differently. There were no big promises, just a clear plan, so I decided to take a chance and switch agents.<br><br>Within the first week they had arranged an open day. I remember sitting there watching people arrive on my Ring doorbell and thinking “where was all this interest for the last 10 months?” There were 12 viewings in one day.<br><br>A few days later Craig called me and said they had 3 offers on the table, all at or above my asking price. I actually had tears in my eyes. It probably sounds silly, but I’ve had a really tough couple of years personally and the thought that I was finally going to be able to move and start the next chapter was overwhelming.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t completely stress free, but that’s not Carter Remy’s fault. As with most house moves there were delays and solicitor issues along the way. Every time something needed chasing though, Anne-Marie and Allison were on it. They always came back to me, kept me updated and never left me wondering what was going on.<br><br>I completed 5 days ago and looking back, switching to Carter Remy was the best decision I made. They got me more viewings in a week than my previous agent managed in 10 months, found me a buyer almost immediately and helped get the sale over the finish line.<br><br>I can’t thank Craig, Anne-Marie, John, Allison and the rest of the team enough. They didn’t just sell my house, they restored my faith that there are estate agents out there who genuinely care about their clients.

They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.
