15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Very helpful and efficient service. Very pleased with our choice of agent, especially with the tenacity shown when chasing solicitors on the sale of several lots.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)We had a great experience selling our house through Savills. In a tough market, our estate agent, Nick was persistent and ensured we had people through the door for viewings. He was professional, courteous, and kept us well informed throughout the process. I would highly recommend both him and Savills to anybody thinking of selling their house.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Mark Proctor and his exceptional team are delightful to work with, very professional, approachable and knowledgable. It’s been a real pleasure.
18th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Rob and the team actively marketed our property, gave us advice on how to present it better and generally provided a professional service. In very difficult market conditions they found us a buyer and I would recommend them highly
23rd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Great communication and very helpful staff. They always have time to answer any issue I had. Would highly recommend!
9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)Do not rent from Connells Taunton unless you want to be ignored and frustrated. I moved out over two months ago, and I am still waiting for my full deposit refund.
The property owner instructed the agency to release the full amount just three days after I moved out. Since then, I have been calling and emailing Connells constantly, but the vast majority of my messages are completely ignored. On the rare occasions I actually get a reply, nobody can explain why it is taking so long.
Their website claims refunds take 5–7 business days (which has been my experience with every other agency I’ve used), but the reality here is completely different. I understand that finding a home right now is difficult and avoiding certain agencies is tough, but please save yourself the stress and avoid Connells Taunton if you can.
They ignored the landlord, they ignored my emails for two months, and they just ignored a formal TDS warning deadline.
20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Everyone is always very friendly and helpful.
12th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)We had a fantastic experience purchasing our house with Fox & Sons. Millie and Peter were both extremely helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Their communication was excellent, and they were always happy to answer any questions. We’re grateful for all their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you both for making such an important milestone a positive and memorable experience!
6th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Paul in the Minehead Branch was very helpful when I was distressed and impatient. The whole moving process was such a nightmare.
7th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Lovely team at Bradleys who helped us in purchasing our new home. Their responsiveness and keen efforts were exceptional and greatly appreciated during a stressful time in reaching exchange and completion. Thank you to Clair, Jack and Jasmine ??
13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Katie Jo and the team at Minehead helped us to sell our lovely flat in Summerland Avenue. They were approachable and professional and showed enormous patience as two buyers dropped out and the property had to go back on the market. Katie Jo really did go above and beyond and eventually this led to our successful conclusion.
10th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)The BEST Estate Agents we have ever dealt with!! Rebecca and Ginny have been outstanding! We have never had such proactive, caring, and personal service from any other agent with moving house. Totally changing the estate agent cliché. So much so I'd love to work with this company myself. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart. 100 % highly recommended!
4th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)We purchased a property near Nether Stowey through Tamlyns. Communication was excellent and as a result we went from offer to completion in only 6 weeks.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Would highly recommend, from the start of the sales process to completion, the team was professional, effective, communicated well and gave me confidence at each stage that the sale was being managed well.
26th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times. All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.
2nd May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Updated promptly after viewings and good communication throughout.
9th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)First-time buyer - Miles and his team were professional and friendly throughout. He was diligent with answering all my questions and made sure I was kept informed from first viewing to completion. Highly recommended.
7th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Communication was clear, quick and friendly, and everything went smoothly. I’m very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Abbott & Frost.

12th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)We’ve had a really positive experience with Lifestyle Property Services from start to finish. They first helped us secure our rental when relocating from London to Bristol, and now they’ve helped us find and in the process of buying our first home. Logan was really friendly and helpful when showing us around the property, and we really appreciated his support in helping us secure a deal quickly. James and Cilla have been great during the process and always around to answer our questions and clear our anxiety especially as this is our first time buying. It’s been great having their support through such important milestones, and we’d happily recommend Lifestyle to anyone looking to rent or buy a property!
20th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I just wanted to write a short review to praise all the hard work that Beau at The Property Centee has done! He has been just amazing! Professional and friendly, communicative and honest. Nothing was ever too much effort for him. Well done Beau! You’ve been so helpful and we are both grateful to you!
6th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Excellent service throughout. Would recommend this estate agent, as unlike other agents, they actually seem to care about your business. Friendly and professional.

Ashcombe Estate Agents & Lettings
Ashcombe Estate Agents and Lettings, The Hive, 6 Beaufighter, BS24 8EE(40 reviews)
16th Oct 2024 (2 years ago)I recently had a valuation conducted by Aaron, and I must say, I was quite impressed with his professionalism. From the moment he arrived, he was polite and friendly, making the entire process comfortable. Aaron provided a thorough valuation of my house and presented a detailed comparison report that clearly explained his reasoning. Initially, I decided to go with another agent who valued my property higher. However, after only one viewing in a couple of months, I found myself having to reduce the price. This experience has made me reflect on my decision, and I now realise that Aaron's valuation was not only honest but also genuine. In hindsight, I appreciate Aaron's integrity and expertise, and I would confidently recommend him to others seeking property valuations. His approach and transparency truly stand out in a competitive market.

17th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)Agents were not knowledgeable about the property when showing people around. After giving them a notice they gave me offer from an investor at a reduced rate, below asking price.
