Her extremely quick response times and clear communication ensured we always felt well looked after. She was also wonderfully accommodating, taking the time to meet in person to talk through all my check-out deposit questions.

Everything was clearly communicated from start to finish, and they delivered on every commitment they made.<br>I would especially like to thank Bler for all of the support, understanding, honesty, and professionalism throughout the process. 13th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!<br>From the very beginning, this agency proved to be rude and unprofessional in every interaction. Simple requests took days to get even a basic response, which set the tone for the entire experience.<br>At check-in, the apartment was in horrendous condition, nowhere near what was advertised. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth just to get them to replace broken and dirty supplies that should never have been an issue in the first place.<br>Once our stay ended, the deposit return process turned into an absolute nightmare. We waited days for replies, and when we finally got them, different agents contradicted each other and gave us conflicting information. On top of that, they deducted cleaning fees from our deposit without ever providing an invoice to justify the charge.<br>Overall, an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience from check-in to check-out. I would strongly advise against booking through this agency — the lack of professionalism, communication, and transparency made what should have been a simple stay into a prolonged ordeal.

However Duncan has been a great help over the last two weeks. From the communication, always responding and keeping us updated on the property, to the efficiency on which he got us a viewing, sent the contracts to sign and handled all the logistics.<br><br>Would definitely contact both Duncan Hastings Estate if I ever need to move again, and I would highly recommend others to do the same

She was incredibly accommodating with our tight work schedules, super transparent and completely zero-pressure. More importantly, she genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for in a home rather than just pushing a sell.<br>If you’re searching for a property in the area, work with Freya: she is responsive, honest, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to deal with!

We were new to the UK and were having great difficulty getting anyone at agencies across the city to speak with us. Ben accepted us as walk-ins and allowed us to see several units. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

As a student from India, I wasn't familiar with the UK renting process, but Leon was incredibly patient, responsive, and always happy to help. He explained every step clearly, answered all my questions promptly, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I always felt supported throughout the process, and I truly appreciate how approachable and professional he was.
