They were helpful in communications and prompt with responses. They arranged multiple viewings for us so we could measure up etc and check things with various surveys. Thank you for being so cooperative and making the process smoother!

We were kept updated throughout the sale and Lily helped us to chase and push when things felt like they were stagnating. I would be happy to use Dacres again for a purchase and would absolutely trust them with my property sale! At all times, Nathan, Matt and Shaun at the Saltaire branch were very responsive, pleasant, helpful, and willing to discuss and give advice on our next strategy. On more than one occasion, the help was above and beyond what I assume is their job description, for instance when the final completion was done in a rush, Nathan went round to the flat to check I had left nothing behind. Many thanks.

9th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)After nearly two years on the selling journey, which began in April 2024, we have finally completed the sale of our property through the team at Bramleys Estate Agents on Victoria Road, Elland. It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. Thank you both and your team so much — we will always remember your support and would warmly recommend Bramleys Estate Agents in Elland.

They know the local area very well, the communication was well paced, realistic and relevant. The latter part of 2025 housing market conditions have proved difficult based on the economical impacts and due to the seasonality. Despite that things have progressed nicely.

15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our experience with this agent was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. We initially viewed the property with the vendor, and everything seemed positive. The house was listed just under £760k. At the time, our budget could stretch to around £700k (possibly slightly more). We were told this wouldn’t be enough as there was an offer of £725k on the table, although that buyer still needed to sell. On that basis, we stepped back. Several weeks later, after running the numbers again and while our own sale was uncertain, we increased our offer to £710k. After a lengthy phone conversation, the agent told us repeatedly that £725k was the figure required for a deal and that anything below this would not be considered. We were also told the vendor was thinking of withdrawing the property from the market until spring. Once our buyer had sold again, we managed to stretch to £725k and arranged a second viewing to finalise matters. During that viewing, the vendor was surprised to hear that £725k had been presented as an acceptable figure — she stated she had never told the agent she would accept this and was actually looking for much closer to £750k. When we raised this with the agent, they denied everything that had previously been said and refused to provide call recordings to clarify the situation. When pressed, the conversation became abrupt and the phone call was cut off. Had we simply been told from the start that the vendor wanted closer to £750k, we would have accepted that and made an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told that £725k was the deal figure, only to later discover this was not true. This showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency, wasted time, and caused unnecessary stress. My advice to anyone dealing with this agent is to record your own conversations. In our case, clear discussions were later denied and no call recordings were provided when requested.

Very professional and friendly at all games Would definitely a million percent use them again and recommend them to all my family and friends A job well done thank you homelets

From the moment we spoke, Lee was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, instantly making the process feel smooth and well organised. When we were shown around the property, his attention to detail and understanding of what we were looking for really stood out and it gave us great confidence in both him and the company. What impressed me the most was how Lee consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire purchase. He regularly sent updates by email, often at times when I wasn’t expecting them, just to keep me in the loop and to make sure I always knew what stage we were at. The process was very long winded based on delays with solicitors and Gareth was constantly in touch with us and trying to push it all along. Highly recommended!

My house was on the market within a couple of weeks of their valuation visit in December 2025 and I had accepted an offer less than a week later. Reasonable fees as well, communication was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all.
