Property was left in the hands of Brooke Gordon who in my opinion has done a fantastic job . Had an offer put forward which was under what I wanted . Had a word with Brooke and went in all guns blazing and got me an excellent offer . She is an asset to the company, Thank You Brooke x Regards John Popple

Although it was Stockton Branch, the Managing Director of both Branches tried to justify the terrible treatment and lack of any consideration from Stockton. Absolutely zero support and a terrible experience, no calls returned, no updates, and eventually blanked. **AVOID**

Only have good things to say about the lettings department, but the repairs team/property management are the laziest , least helpful people ever . We have a baby in our property and they could’ve cared less about 2 weeks with no heating, a leak for 2 weeks , damp. Absolutely useless- 14th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)Andy Richard and his team are very professional they explained everything I needed to know about renting out my house. They made everything easy and the whole process was hassle free They rented my house out within 5 days and I have some excellent tenants !! I would highly recommend

11th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I let 2 properties with kings estate agents and I can't praise them enough.they go above and beyond and are always on hand to help and guide you. They find excellent tennants manage the properties, they communicate everything to me that I need to know and bother me with things I don't. There fees are excellent for work they do. I cannot praise them all enough but special thanks to Christine and Andy you are amazing and I would be lost without you.

Throughout the process and up to exchange , she always provided us with up to date information on progress, and was at all times proactive in dealing with our seller and the solicitors in the chain. She made the process so much less stressful and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her and Michael Poole in the future or recommend to others.

They were terrific in showing my late Brother’s house to potential buyers and always let me know about viewings, and answered any questions I had regarding the matter. I mostly dealt with Jayne Saddique MNAEA, the lovely Olivia Mahmood and excellent Debbie Wilson. Terrific job done by all staff. Grateful Thanks, Pat Gibson.

My experience with Northgate Estate Agents throughout the purchase of my first home has been nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, the team were proactive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. As a first-time buyer, I naturally had plenty of questions, but nothing was ever too much trouble. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring at every stage. A special thank you to Katy, who was exceptional throughout. She went above and beyond to keep everything moving, provided regular updates without being chased, and was always approachable, professional, and incredibly helpful. Her and the rest of the team's support made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and positive. Northgate offers a level of service you would expect to pay a premium for — attentive, organised, and truly client-focused. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.

2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Absolutely horrible estate agents, let their landlords run into disrepair and leave a kitchen with electrics under the sink exposed with water leaking for 6 months. Only when the council got involved they immediately sent an eviction notice under lie that he's selling because of may renters reform so he can't be challenged over the section 21. No problem. They then try to lie and say we refused entry or cancelled appointments and continued this for months as a way to make the tenant look difficult. The tenant that has lived here for 3 years 1 year in unsafe conditions until the council got involved because my children became unwell. So C.A (look on the website for full name) the compulsive liar, who likes to talk to tenants like trash accusing them of not paying rent and threatening them with landlords only to find the rent was paid a week early as usual and no apology offered until I argued over it. She is an absolute nasty piece of work and has some kind of power trip going on. Provoked and provoked until I did call her everything under the sun because I am paying to live in disrepair and them saying we are cancelling appointments which we have not done! Do check all date on photos and to me line!!! Look at my SAFE kitchen.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)Administration of the property leasing old school, no silly apps and speak to people which is great. However that’s where the good part comes ends. The problem is the inspector and the property manager. Poor landlord is suffering the consequence, a lot of inconsistencies in what they are saying to both parties, as is the poor tenant that relies on them To make matters worse lettings manager ignores complaints rather than properly investigating. Even after council report, no acknowledgment of issues. What can one do?
