5th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Disappointing experience. We unfortunately entered the market just as the economy was crashing into recession. However we chose Churchill because of their long standing local presence and thought they would provide an excellent service. We found them old fashioned and disjointed e.g. no 360 degrees online presentation of our house, we had to point out out that the published photos were originally missing a room, they was a complete lack of diversity in their agents (of which we had to deal with 3 different men although the area manager had said we would only be dealing with him) the different agents didn’t appear to have pre-read the information we had provided about our house before the viewings and there was a general lack of ongoing communication. In the end we only had two viewings before we ended the contract after 4 weeks.
31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)????? | ?????? Lettings Review ?????? Wow! Where do I even start?! I'll be honest, I came to McRaes with zero expectations. I've come across enough agents over the years to have become fairly resigned to the whole experience ?????? You know the drill: slow responses, vague answers, nobody really seeming to care whether you actually get a home or not. ? McRaes were genuinely something else entirely ? Brian, Miri and Sally looked after the lettings process from start to finish and the thing that struck me most was how human they all were. Not just polite but actually kind ?????? Considerate, empathetic and whenever I had a question or a wobble they responded with warmth and patience rather than the usual clipboard energy you get at other agencies. You don't find people like that in estate agency anymore, they are a rare, rare find ?????? ? What made McRaes stand out: ?????? Genuine, warm and approachable from day one ?????? Outstanding communication throughout and never left in the dark ?????? Seamless, stress-free process start to finish ?????? You actually feel like a person, not just a tenant reference number ?????? The kind of people you're genuinely sad to stop dealing with ?? One thing to flag regarding the inventory company: ?????? This is no reflection on McRaes whatsoever but the third-party inventory company they used fell well short. Items were logged as "professionally cleaned" and "good condition" when they were neither including appliances that simply weren't in working order. For a lettings team that holds itself to such a high standard, it's a noticeable weak link. I'd genuinely encourage McRaes to find an inventory provider whose thoroughness matches their own. ?????? ?????? Here's the bottom line. McRaes are the kind of estate agents you wish you'd found years sooner. Brian, Miri and Sally are wonderful and the whole experience was refreshingly smooth. ???????????? Sort the inventory company and it's a five-star operation without question! ?????

14th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Not the best experience was fine until the house was sold. Sales staff are very friendly and so was the valuation expert. But don’t ask any questions about how your sale is progressing as you will be told to keep quite and don’t get stressed. Simple questions that required simple answers that’s all I wanted a yes or no not the novel I got. So much so I am now at the point of removing my home from the market all thanks to staff attitude. Bottom line have had to chase for offers to be put in writing, even then we did not receive all of them and had to chase for feedback from viewings. Personally I would be reluctant to use this Estae agent and would not do so again. My advice go multi agent or if you go with these just be prepared to be quite don’t ask questions for updates of progress and you will be fine. Yes the house is sold however as the vendor who holds the pen to sign the contract or now as the case maybe not and is paying a considerable sum of money for the sale of my home I found the communication totally unacceptable.

28th Feb 2020 (6 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. 25th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)The most rudest and ignorant estate agents I have ever met. Please save yourself the trouble and do not work with this estate agent and especially not Haseeb. Throughout my time of renting a property from this agent, he has neglected his duties and then had the audacity to keep the deposit after I left the property. This estate agents and Haseeb have no humanity nor manners whatsoever.
13th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)444 helped us with our first home in London ( Startford). We lived in that house for 2 years. Move in and move out process was very smooth. Any issues reported were fixed very promptly. Kaizer and Maryam are very professional and approachable. Highly recommend 444 services to tenants and landlords.
6th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)Sold our property within 8 days. Brookings valued our house slightly higher than the other three agents that we invited. We also sold for the EXACT figure Ryan thought we would get. If I’d have gone with the other agents, I would have lost out. Wonderful service
10th Jan 2026 (25 weeks ago)We had been with Greenlands for almost 3 years, they have been very good landlords/agents. Any requests were immediately acted upon, fixing things were very quick. They are respectful of your space - no surprise visits and they always ask for your confirmation. I really like that they manage properties locally so their office is super close to the properties. They are very responsive with the emails, repair requests, questions - anything you need. We got the deposits back really quickly as well. Thank you Will very much for taking care of us!

From the very beginning, Trupti and the team have been incredibly supportive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Any time an issue came up—whether it was maintenance, documentation, or general queries—they responded quickly and always made sure things were resolved smoothly. One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility. They consistently worked around my schedule, which made everything—from inspections to repairs—so much more convenient. Communication was always easy and professional—Trupti especially was a joy to deal with, always approachable, proactive, and genuinely kind, making the entire experience feel personal and stress-free. 20th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)I tried to use Samuel King to sell my property in 2024-25 with no success. I found Stephen to be a significant blocker, with little by way of feedback and what often sounded like fictitious viewings. There were no offers and he was evasive on the phone. Eventually, after 6 months, I snapped and asked Samuel King to delist the property. I had no idea what was going on in Stephen’s life, but he was a state - shirt untucked, food stains down the front - and an overall mess. He appeared the very opposite of professional and if you’d have told me he’s living at the Canning Town office I’d have believed you.<br><br>I switched agents to Purple Bricks and the property sold at the same price listed with Samuel King in 6 weeks. Make of that what you will.<br><br>I later passed Stephen in the street near the SK office and he looked much the same. I had thought that using a local agent would be a good idea, but my experience was anything but. There’s a reason why this office is living mainly on old reviews and is the lowest rated estate agent on Google in the area. I have no skin in the game anymore, my property is gone, but I still felt I should leave this review as a cautionary tale for anyone else thinking of using Samuel King.

13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)I’m genuinely very disappointed by the way I was treated by both the owner and manager at WorkSpace. I was approached while quietly doing my work and spoken to in a degrading and unprofessional manner regarding purchasing something from the café. The situation was communicated unclearly at first, and instead of handling it respectfully, I was told to leave or security would be called. I found the entire interaction rude and upsetting. Regardless of café policy, customers should still be treated with basic respect and professionalism.
