25th Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)I had a wonderful experience with Abatoria Estate Agents, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. As a first-time buyer, the whole process felt quite daunting at the start, but Mini was incredibly supportive from day one. She took the time to explain every step clearly, always responded promptly, and made sure I never felt lost or overwhelmed. Mini also acted as a great point of contact between me and the solicitors, helping to move things along smoothly and keeping communication flowing so that nothing stalled. Her patience, professionalism, and reassuring approach made a huge difference and turned what could have been a stressful experience into a really positive one. I’m truly grateful for all the help and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I highly recommend Abatoria Estate Agents — especially Mini — to anyone, and particularly to first-time buyers looking for guidance and support.

14th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)I booked a viewing for Tuesday 10/01 at 2pm and the agent didn’t show up, I tried to call many times the office and nobody answered so after 15 minutes I left. The following day they apologised saying that who was supposed to show us the property was sick and they rearranged the viewing for today, Saturday 14/01 at 11am. Well, we are here now and yet again nobody showed up. I called the office and the guy who was supposed to show us the property today picked up and said that he wasn’t aware that there was a viewing rearrange for today and “he just saw the diary”. And then added that “to me my health is more important than your viewing”. (How rude by the way?!)Probably it is, but at least your office should have the courtesy to let us know rather than make us waiting. And if you re arrange a viewing and you don’t show up for the second time, well I wonder how your landlords can trust you to rent their properties. … without mentioning that on both days and appointments it was poring rain and my health is important as his health, thanks for letting me wait in the wet and cold weather. Ridiculous.

I contacted Robert in the beginning and he arrange avery thing ready for me fast and safe,than mostly i have been contacted with Elona who has looked after anything about my renting place regarding paperwork ,keys ,contacting with landlord ect. I am very happy with them, and i always recommend my friends that needs that kind of service and i will always do.

10th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Catherine and Derek were excellent to deal with from the moment I first made enquiries to the day I moved out. Any emails were responded to very quickly and any issues dealt with - the property was very new and there were some things the builders had to sort but Catherine kept chasing them to ensure things were fixed. All in all they made the process so easy and efficient and were always so pleasant as well. Deposit was returned the day after I moved out which was fantastic.

Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!

10th Apr 2025 (11 mo. ago)Unfortunately due to heavy traffic I was delayed. I contacted the office 3 times from 9.34am to advise them of this issue. They ignored this information and still insisting I was 45 mins late when I had already advised them of the traffic delays from the outset my appt was for 10.30. I arrived and they cancelled my appointment. Zero consideration for my time. Zero adjustments of intelligence, also refusing to let me speak to the manager. I feel sorry for the seller as I am in a great position to purchase. UPDATE - as requested by shepherds, I have indeed had a greater quality experience with Kings and P Cuffaro whose high standards and chief skill include ability to communicate their schedule and accommodate the potential buyer in order to secure a sale on behalf of the vendor. Their priority is not to argue their point but to ensure they communicate efficiently and effectively with maturity and consideration for clients and explain time scales as the buyer would not be aware from the outset of your schedule. I was actually refused and told very boldly that I could not speak to a manager and had to write in. I have attached images of my calls updating you of my journey. My 20 minute journey was 1Hr 10 mins. Not once was I told you had a 30 minute journey or a time limit not including or accommodating the 10 minutes (10.40) until my final call 5 minutes before my arrival at11.12. In a nutshell buyers and sellers beware.you can see that arguing the toss in detail on here is the priority over securing your sale!

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very unprofessional after you give them business. They managed our property in Northampton for 4 years. No inspection reports ever provided. Told us the tenant has left and there was no rent for us. Seem like they do not know the legal implications of such action. The personnel who managed our property was very arrogant and has no idea of customer service. Had to prompt them for rent to be disbursed on most of the times.

His local market knowledge is excellent, and he has a great eye for spotting a home’s potential, which has helped my clients make clearer, more confident decisions. Highly recommended.
4th Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.

The agents involved in viewings could do with some training in this aspect. Having dealt with other agents in the past I know what ‘good service’ looks like. This unfortunately was not it.

Got me through the mud of the house buying process and was very helpful with advise! Was friendly and personal, but kept it professional. Would highly recommend!
