I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

It was a pleasure being supported by Matt on, at times, a daily basis and his calm, pragmatic approach made a huge difference in some stressful times. They also went above and beyond on a particular matter which impressed us hugely and demonstrated that it's not just about the bottom line. We will be returning to Fine & Country when we're next selling again (hopefully not for 10+ years though!).

We are so grateful to the team, and especially Jo Eldridge, for their attention to detail and commitment. Selling and buying a home is a huge milestone and can be quite eventful. However, our experience has ended successfully - moving into our dream home because of the team's dedication and relentless pursuit to advocate for their client the whole time. There has never been a time where our needs, queries or support weren't answered immediateness & the whole process made us feel high-priority. I would highly recommend this branch for outstanding customer service and treating house buying and selling with a human approach. Thank you.

We hit a couple of bumps in the road due to a complex income situation but Jack was able to find a really good solution and everything went super smoothly. He also set us up with all the required insurance policies. Definitely recommend!
16th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)Simon, Annabel & Team From the very first meeting with Simon, I felt completely at ease about the whole selling process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made what can be a very overwhelming experience feel manageable. Throughout, he kept me informed and reassured every step of the way. I was then assigned Annabel as my handler, and she was absolutely fantastic. She supported me through all the ups and downs both the happy and stressful moments and was always there when I needed guidance or reassurance. The process itself wasn’t easy, which was no fault of mine or Fox & Sons, but the team truly went above and beyond. They kept me consistently updated, chased when needed, and showed real dedication to getting the sale over the line. My only concern throughout the process was the solicitor firm recommended/used alongside the sale which the buyer was using. Unfortunately, my experience with them was very poor and added a significant amount of stress. Communication was lacking, and at times it felt like there were unnecessary delays, which made the process more difficult than it needed to be. I would strongly suggest Fox & Sons review the solicitors they work with for future sales. That said, the team Simon has built in Polegate is outstanding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. Thank you again for everything!

10th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)From start to finish Jayne & Kelly have been amazing. After 26 years in rented accommodation we were served the section 21. We saw the house listed online via Ancells. 1hr 45mins drive later. The home we saw felt so homely. We couldn't stop talking about it and how professional both Kelly & Jayne had been. Got the keys today. ???????????? Thank you to team Ancells Estates. Would highly recommend team Ancells.

9th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

4th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.
