6th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)From the initial engagement, advice on house preparation, viewings, offers and eventual sale, Chesters Estates are the ultimate professionals.<br><br>We had a very quick sale and no issues at all. Communication was excellent and they completely owned the process, liaising with the buyers, conveyancing and myself, keeping me informed at every step.<br><br>We got a fair price for the property and Chesters' own costs were very reasonable too.<br><br>I would highly recommend Chesters - A++++.
17th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)Very disappointed, first they overvalued the property and told me in a matter of a fortnight I needed to reduce the price which I did, I then heard nothing for almost 2 months . Went to a different agent who sold the property within a week. When I looked at their marketing it was so much better and more professional than Bowyers. I do not like leaving negative reviews, however this reflects my experience with them.

10th May 2024 (2 years ago)Holly was professional and very knowledgeable of property in the Tiptree area. Originally priced the property above the recommended value had 16 viewing that David Martin undertook. Communications by phone and email were good keeping us in the picture. They obtained the buyer and communicated well during the negotiation process.

8th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I'm afraid that I would have to advise people to avoid using Quirks - we found them to be very poor at communicating, they don't really understand how to match buyers to properties, they don't advertise on Zoopla or on the Market and they came across as quite unprofessional. Buying and selling a property is stressful and quite emotionally exhausting thing to do and they don't seem to get this at all. They didn't seem to make any effort to sell out property but thankfully when we ended our contract with them and put it on the market with another estate agents, it was bought by the first person that walked through the door

She guided us step-by-step, was always available for calls, and kept us updated every single day. We always knew exactly where we stood. She was incredibly reassuring, kept everything running smoothly, and really put us at ease. We couldn’t recommend Bairstow Eves enough, especially with Claire handling our sale.
10th Mar 2026 (24 weeks ago)Robert Michael Estate Agents handled the recent sale of our house in Thundersley. They provided advice on realistic pricing and marketed the property well, securing interest and negotiating a very fair offer. When we encountered a problem with a severe water leak during the cold weather in January, our Agent, Dean Ellis, played a key role in getting the property repaired while retaining the buyer's interest. Dean really went the extra mile for us, arranging contractors, allowing contractor access to the property for us and monitoring/ emptying the dehumidifiers as it dried out. Thanks to Dean the sale was completed on 9th March.

They are professional, honest, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process.<br>Their knowledge of the property market and straightforward advice gave me complete confidence every step of the way.
