From the initial consultation with Matt, to preparing for market, the production of the brochure and eventually securing the sale their approach has been nothing but highly professional. This was most evident once the sale had been agreed and everything slowed down due to issues in the chain and this is where it was important to have hard-working, diligent individuals pushing on our behalf. We are so happy everything has now been completed but cannot thank everyone at Edge enough.

The presentation of the property was second to none, and you get a real feel for professional company that you are dealing with. Their communication has always been fantastic and they are very friendly and approachable and honest which is unusual with estate agents. Adam and Corrie deserve a huge pat on the back! The sale has gone through extremely smoothly with them and it felt very personal dealing with them. They are genuinely happy to help and give advice. Highly recommend them for that more personal service! Thanks again guys!!

1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

There were quite a few complications along the way, but Maddie handled everything professionally, kept us updated, and was always there to help and reassure us. 10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)As a new landlord, I was extremely anxious about the whole process, especially with the new laws and regulations etc. However, I’m so delighted I chose Barker Healey! They came recommended by two separate people who both said they had positive experiences and I can see why! Claire, the manager of lettings, was amazing from start to finish. Very thorough and detailed, all processes were clear, information about their fees were transparent etc. She answered all of my questions and wasn’t put off with the amount of them. She was so polite and respectful. She was very patient and understood my situation. She created a lovely post about my property and she showed a range of prospective tenants around the property. Her communication was excellent and she kept me informed at all stages. In life, you have to trust your instinct and I’m glad I trusted mine with Claire. Moving away means I won’t be able to oversee my property and I feel I can fully trust Claire and her team to oversee and manage it. She has taken a huge weight off my mind. Her diligent, conscientious work ethic means I haven’t been as anxious as before and it’s one less thing for me to think about! BH: Fair, polite, honest, hardworking, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely thorough and well organised with regular communication. Thank you to Claire and the team at BH! Update completed today and Roberta, Hollie and Jess at the Stafford branch were all so lovely and easy to talk to any one i spoke to was always really helpful but the 3 ladies who i have the pleasure of dealing with the most were always fab thank you
4th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."

Adam stood out from day one: professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. He attended nearly every viewing, provided immediate and constructive feedback, and made subtle but very effective changes to our marketing. His communication was excellent — evenings, weekends, and helpful voice notes — which worked perfectly for us with work and young children. He genuinely went the extra mile, even attending our home to allow surveyors in when we couldn’t. Adam guided us not only on the sale but also offered great advice for our onward purchase. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment made the whole process smoother. We’d absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.

From the initial booking of the evaluation, to their marketing expertise. All the way through to bookings and viewings. They have been amazing! Sales progression have been great. Pushing the sales along when we thought it had stalled!

Within 15 minutes of it going live I had my first appointment.. second viewing appointment for the same day within 40 minutes both for the same day! I literally can't believe how efficient they are! I would totally recommend them! From the media presentation to speaking to staff on the phone it's been absolutely faultless!!!
