Availability was clear, expectations were managed, fees agreed, support provided where necessary and options available for me, the customer, to decide. The main point to make about Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates, is there was open and direct communication. At no point did I think I was being "sold" a service. I was offered a service with complete transparency, no pressure, no promises, just a clear set of communication and completely honest. My faith in Estate Agents has been restored and I wouldn't blink at deciding to use Murphy Waldron if I needed an estate agent again. I cannot stress how impressed I was and would whole heartedly recommend Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates.
4th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)This wasn’t an easy sale it took a while to sell and the. it fell through and then sold again quickly . I was a panicky seller but both Jaimie abs Nicks were Professional and personable and I felt we actually became friends - almost ! Highly recommend

18th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)From viewing a property to signing for it took a week, the team at lilac were excellent from start to finish, I was always kept up to date with how the process was going and always made to feel like a valued customer, I can't rate them highly enough, certainly deserving of the 5 stars. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

20th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Maya Properties. The whole setup felt extremely questionable, especially regarding utility bills. Tenants are required to pay energy and water bills through the landlord rather than directly to suppliers, despite the property at OL6 6EF apparently operating on a shared meter system. We were told this would be changed, but nothing has happened. There was also pressure to sign inventory documents before properly viewing the property. When I attempted to take photographs for my own records, Mr. Rabez Mohammed became aggressive, threw my belongings out of the property, pushed me out of the property, and prevented me from documenting the condition of the flat. Even after I had paid deposit and rent in advance they claim because I didn't sign inventory they will not hand in the keys. Flat number 0L6 6EF. I have formally reported the incident to the police following what I experienced during the day I was meant to move in. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid signing with Maya Properties and to proceed with extreme caution.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)If there was an option to give 0 stars i would, housing union needs to step in. £120 cleaning charge for blue tack that was already there. Fined £200 in council tax as they failed to inform and submit student exemption, made me homeless twice, £60 fee each time to get back in. Their emergency line failed to work and blamed it on the network. failed miserably at looking after their tenants and all the young women in my flat were subjected to a creepy uncle. Unsure how any of them sleep soundly. The state of the flat was gross while promoting a weekly cleaner. do better
23rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)? 1 Star – Completely Unacceptable Living Conditions I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company. For five years I repeatedly reported serious repair issues that were never properly resolved. During that time, my six-year-old child was forced to live in unacceptable and unsafe conditions. The property had broken internal doors, a constantly leaking bathroom, rusted and leaking radiators, and a kitchen full of damp and mould. The issues were ongoing and left unattended despite numerous complaints. What makes this worse is that instead of addressing the disrepair, their house cleaner was posting videos on Instagram showcasing the property — yet it was still in the same poor condition I had been left to live in for seven years. Nothing meaningful had been fixed. It felt like appearance mattered more than tenant welfare. No child should have to grow up in a home with persistent leaks, mould, and broken fixtures. The lack of urgency, care, and basic responsibility shown throughout my tenancy was beyond disappointing. I would not recommend renting through them.

27th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Agency was great throughout our tenancy in terms of communication and maintenance. The issues I had were after we moved out when it came to our deposit. They flipped my mattress to find an old stain which they then tried to charge me for. The mattress had not been flipped before I moved in or during my tenancy so I was able to dispute this. I am a young professional and the flat was in excellent condition when we left. It needed a professional clean which I was happy to pay for. Our tenancy was for 2 years and there was a small amount of expected wear and tear (eg. a few unnoticeable marks on the walls). The agency said they needed to repaint the entire flat and took this out of our deposit. I have rented with a number of letting agents whilst living in Manchester and they were the only one who took a significant portion of my deposit.

5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)awful experience! joe was the agent helping us move and prior to moving, every so often he would tell us that we either failed to fill in paperwork or pay a fee on time despite not telling us about it beforehand. whilst at the property, we had issues with our landlord illegally entering the property with no notice. we sent a complain to this company and we have still not heard anything back. any attempt to contact has been ignored. would avoid if possible!

I’m happy to say I sold my house within six weeks for a higher price than I originally advertised they couldn’t have done more they went above and beyond and special thanks to Emily you’re amazing.
