6th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)All the agents kept us updated as to the feedback from viewers and eventually when we had an offer on the house unfortunately it took a long time to complete but that was the fault of the solicitors. I cannot fault the Estate Agents
25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!
2nd Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)I can’t praise Warren and Stuart enough: they were amazing in helping me both sell my home and buy a new one. They are so genuine, trustworthy and efficient, not forgetting Wendy too. Excellent communication and support in a stressful process.
4th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)This wasn’t an easy sale it took a while to sell and the. it fell through and then sold again quickly . I was a panicky seller but both Jaimie abs Nicks were Professional and personable and I felt we actually became friends - almost ! Highly recommend

18th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)From viewing a property to signing for it took a week, the team at lilac were excellent from start to finish, I was always kept up to date with how the process was going and always made to feel like a valued customer, I can't rate them highly enough, certainly deserving of the 5 stars. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

20th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Maya Properties. The whole setup felt extremely questionable, especially regarding utility bills. Tenants are required to pay energy and water bills through the landlord rather than directly to suppliers, despite the property at OL6 6EF apparently operating on a shared meter system. We were told this would be changed, but nothing has happened. There was also pressure to sign inventory documents before properly viewing the property. When I attempted to take photographs for my own records, Mr. Rabez Mohammed became aggressive, threw my belongings out of the property, pushed me out of the property, and prevented me from documenting the condition of the flat. Even after I had paid deposit and rent in advance they claim because I didn't sign inventory they will not hand in the keys. Flat number 0L6 6EF. I have formally reported the incident to the police following what I experienced during the day I was meant to move in. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid signing with Maya Properties and to proceed with extreme caution.

28th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Worst agency ever… they agreed for a 2 deposit payment plus 1 month rent … plus I have paid £270 agency fee… they have ask me to proved all my personal information, the next couple of days they told me that they couldn't accept. Scammers !

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)If there was an option to give 0 stars i would, housing union needs to step in. £120 cleaning charge for blue tack that was already there. Fined £200 in council tax as they failed to inform and submit student exemption, made me homeless twice, £60 fee each time to get back in. Their emergency line failed to work and blamed it on the network. failed miserably at looking after their tenants and all the young women in my flat were subjected to a creepy uncle. Unsure how any of them sleep soundly. The state of the flat was gross while promoting a weekly cleaner. do better

27th Jul 2025 (11 mo. ago)Agency was great throughout our tenancy in terms of communication and maintenance. The issues I had were after we moved out when it came to our deposit. They flipped my mattress to find an old stain which they then tried to charge me for. The mattress had not been flipped before I moved in or during my tenancy so I was able to dispute this. I am a young professional and the flat was in excellent condition when we left. It needed a professional clean which I was happy to pay for. Our tenancy was for 2 years and there was a small amount of expected wear and tear (eg. a few unnoticeable marks on the walls). The agency said they needed to repaint the entire flat and took this out of our deposit. I have rented with a number of letting agents whilst living in Manchester and they were the only one who took a significant portion of my deposit.

Paid a part deposit to secure a property we had chosen but unfortunately the landlord had a problem with the property and decided to put the house for sale, Joe gave me a full refund with no issues and was very apologetic. A day later he contact us and had found another house for us to view and even negotiated a reduced rent because he thought he let us down but hey we are better off now thanks to Joe and Susan. Professinal and good honests service. Thanks Ray & Laura
