I had many requests which they’ve professionally coordinated with the landlord, and efficiently fulfilled. Full marks for Megan, Ryan and Scott!!! As a current tenant, I’m happy that they are managing the flat well now with prompt assistance??????????????????

17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)We contacted this agency today about a rental property in cockfosters London and had a very concerning experience. I was told that before even arranging a viewing, I had to complete an “income check” by opening my banking app and following their instructions so they could verify my finances in real time. I was also told that if I refused, they would not show me the flat. This is not normal or acceptable practice in the UK. On the same day, my English friend called about the exact same property. He was not asked to do any of these checks, even when he mentioned he could provide payslips. There was no mention of any banking app access or unusual verification process. This difference in treatment is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about discrimination and possible racism based on background or accent. Everyone should be treated fairly and equally when enquiring about a property. I am aware of my legal rights and will consider reporting this behaviour to the relevant authorities and the local council. Practices like this should be properly investigated to ensure tenants are protected from discrimination and unsafe requests for personal financial information.

From the very beginning, they went above and beyond, especially in accommodating us with our newborn, and did everything possible to help us secure our beautiful home, including arranging numerous viewings to suit our circumstances and advocating for us on stamp duty relief. We are incredibly grateful for their honesty, transparency, and clear communication throughout the entire process, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring. Zaid, in particular, has been an absolute asset to the team. His kindness, patience, and constant reassurance meant so much to us, and he genuinely felt like part of the family by the end of our journey. We got there in the end! We couldn’t be happier and truly can’t thank you both enough.

Megan McFarlane was incredibly helpful and assisted me throughout, from the initial enquiry right through to moving in. Communication was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend Abbotts and Megan in particular — a truly seamless letting experience.

28th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)We have been looking for a house for around 15 months, and after being registered with what feels like every agent in the three counties area, the only agent we would wholeheartedly recommend, is Leon. And this recommendation comes with no strings attached, because the house we have ended up purchasing isn’t through Castles - but both my husband and I have repeatedly said if we had the choice of who we would buy our home from, it would be Leon. He has kept in touch with us weekly, he got to know us and what we were looking for and would give us a heads up on houses that were coming to market, and he’d call just to check in and see how our search was coming. We viewed several houses with him, and I can say that I have personally witnessed him lead with such empathy and kindness - one viewing in particular was delayed because of a very difficult family situation in the home and Leon lead with such generosity of spirit. He even rang solely to congratulate us when he saw a note from his colleague that we had finally found a home. Thank you, Leon! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone selling or buying.

It was a real eye opener. She was knowledgeable and professional. But more than that she had the gift of effective communication. Her levels of Emotional Quotient must be very high. The balance of listening and talking was excellent. She appeared to know very quickly what our needs were both practically and psychologically. Talents she could use in many situations. Well done and thank you.

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings. We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
10th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We had a number of issues from the start. This generally involved factual errors e.g. wrong valuation stated in communication, wrong name. Whether one particular viewing happened was dubious as we had feedback from one member of the team but another said they couldn’t access the property (we had a key safe and the code was changed). We eventually moved estate agents to a smaller one who sold the property quickly. It then transpired that the buyer had seen the property through WH Brown some time ago (the potential buyer had asked for certain information that had not been obtained weeks later - having spoken to a member of staff, it was clear they were asking the wrong people for an answer - management company instead of landlord). We were then contacted to say that WH Brown would be completing the sale - this annoyed me as they had been poor thus far and I was concerned they would mess up again. The new estate agent who had sold it was happy to finish the sale though they would only receive 25% of the commission compared to the 75% for WH Brown.
