I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

21st Feb 2026 (26 days ago)Oliver Jacques did a fantastic service selling my flat in Bow Quarter. For work I was based far from London and they went above and beyond to enable me to sell the flat - sorting out various issues that came up without me having to travel back. I started with another agent who was not able to get nearly as many viewings, so I switched to Oliver Jacques. They were on the ball and James was arranging viewings and always willing to help. When there was a delay related to the Lease, Rosalie problem solved and pushed things forward, finding solutions and working with us to get the sale over the line. Thanks to all at OJ.

26th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I agreed to a purchase for a property in Edmonton (28 Folkestone Road, N18) in November 2025. A sale memorandum was issued, a survey was arranged, my mortgage was approved, and my solicitor completed all documentation and searches. Unfortunately, the transaction has not progressed for several months due to a lack of response from the vendor and the vendor’s solicitor. Despite making multiple phone calls and visiting the Edmonton office in person, there has been very limited follow-up and no meaningful progress. The branch manager, Mark, appears to be managing the office alone and is handling a very high volume of calls, which may be contributing to delays. This seems to be a broader resourcing issue rather than an individual one. As a result, I have incurred costs for surveys, legal searches, and other fees, while my solicitor and mortgage adviser have been unable to obtain updates. The lack of communication has been stressful and has left the transaction unresolved for an extended period. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience. I hope the company reviews staffing and communication processes at this branch so that clients in similar situations receive clearer updates and more consistent support.

They’re always professional, friendly, and very prompt when it comes to addressing any issues. Everything is handled quickly and efficiently, which makes renting stress free. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Robert in the beginning and he arrange avery thing ready for me fast and safe,than mostly i have been contacted with Elona who has looked after anything about my renting place regarding paperwork ,keys ,contacting with landlord ect. I am very happy with them, and i always recommend my friends that needs that kind of service and i will always do.

He was of course motivated to act in the best interests of the seller, but he was professional, polite, detail oriented and diligent in dealing with our questions and concerns in a timely manner. He’s a good communicator. Our solicitor was not. He was able to reassure, educate and guide us through the unfamiliar process. He was always helpful and diplomatic which we much appreciated in the high stress of buying a home.

21st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Rented from these folks for about 9 1/2 years. Loved the property managers, never had any problems until landlords hiked the rent in 2023 and wouldn’t negotiate. Length of communication silence meant the agency left me with about two weeks to move out and sent several insistent emails saying I had to vacate the premises in that period, which was rough after such a long tenancy and isn’t in keeping with what tenants are actually legally able to do. I was eventually able to get a small lease extension and moved, but it really felt dreadful to be treated that way as a long-time client.

The advice they gave was very honest and direct which I found very refreshing compared to previous experiences with other agents. I would highly recommend Loporto Browne!

Once the offers were approved and the purchase was in progress, Nick would call us every day - sometimes multiple times - to ensure that we had the very latest updates on progress.
