16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Pervin was friendly and helpful and was more than happy to do whatever she could to help me complete on buying a property!
16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Chestertons Islington is, without question, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The sheer incompetence, appalling communication and complete lack of accountability throughout our experience have been genuinely astonishing.

Our tenancy and moving-out process was an absolute nightmare. We incurred approximately £4,000 in additional costs, spent countless hours chasing emails and attempting to resolve issues, and were subsequently faced with further disputes over what we consider to be completely unreasonable deposit deductions.

What makes this experience particularly infuriating is the apparent unwillingness to acknowledge mistakes or take meaningful responsibility for resolving them. The amount of time, money and energy we have wasted dealing with Chestertons is frankly ridiculous. For a company that markets itself as a reputable, high-end estate agency, the standard of service we received was nothing short of disgraceful.

The only exception has been Alhad, who has been helpful throughout an otherwise horrendous experience.

I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise anyone against using Chestertons Islington- AND CHESTERTONS AS A WHOLE. I have genuinely never encountered such consistently poor service from any company. An extraordinarily expensive, stressful and exhausting experience that I would not wish on anyone.

Avoid at all costs.
11th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Had a pleasant time during my property search with Stirling Ackroyd, especially with Thomas who was really attentive and friendly.
21st Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently moved into our rental property this month, and we’re very happy with the support we received from Saad and Antonio.

Saad was very helpful throughout the moving process and always made sure we had the information and support we needed. We also had an issue with the gas meter at the property, and Antonio personally helped us sort it out and made sure the problem was resolved.

We really appreciate their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help. Thank you both for making our move and settling into the property much easier. Highly recommended!
18th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)We have had a brilliant experience working with David Andrew and in particular with Jelena. She was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs during our rental home search and we have managed to find a fantastic home for our family. Jelena and the team are always available at the end of the phone and are quick at responding to all communications. I cannot speak highly enough of their service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future home searches!
5th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)Had a great experience renting through Quest - always responsive, helpful and kind to work with!
8th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have recently let our second flat from Alwyne Estates. Freddie has been incredibly helpful, very responsive with any queries, and has a great insight into the market. Would highly recommend.
30th Sep 2026 (27 days ago)I had a really positive experience dealing with Bhavika. Although I didn’t end up securing a property through her, she was incredibly helpful, friendly and informative throughout the process. As a first-time renter, I really appreciated how clearly she explained the new rental laws and everything I needed to be aware of. She was always happy to answer my questions and made the process feel much less daunting. Thank you, Bhavika!
20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Did a fantastic job of keeping the process going despite significant hurdles out of their control! Everyone on the team was very friendly and communicative
13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)I was a tenant with Alex Crown for 1 year. It was a good experience. Didn’t have many issues with the property but when we did, the team were responsive and quick to address. The team were always friendly, and the checking in/ out of the property at the start/ end of tenancy was a positive experience. Thank you Alex Crown!
7th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)I can't recommend Portico more, especially Gurtegh and Shayamal, they are the best agents I've ever experienced genuinely, they have become friends of mine due to how the managed the relationship during the process, I wish all employees of businesses went this above and beyond for their clients....
9th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)Start to finish the team we’re very helpful and made the whole stresssful process doable. Thank you
13th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Satisfied so far working with Aysima on a proprety we would like to rent. Geniune interactions all along with high situational awareness and focusing on getting a deal done. Highly recommend !
22nd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Great experience with Islington Properties. The team was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the process. Communication was excellent, and everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend their services!

20th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Estate Agent Review

I had a very positive experience with Alex and the team when purchasing my property in London. I’ll be honest, I was quite a difficult client at times as I was very stressed throughout the process, but Alex handled me extremely well and also managed the seller, who had a strong character, with professionalism and patience. I really appreciated that.

The sale went through much faster than I expected, which was a big positive. Communication throughout was regular and clear, and I never felt like I had to constantly chase for updates.

What really stood out to me was that Alex went above and beyond what I would expect from his role. He even helped me print and post documents to make sure everything was completed quickly and correctly. As I wasn’t experienced with the process and unfortunately didn’t have the best experience with my solicitors, this extra help made a real difference.

I’m very grateful for Alex’s patience, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile. I would definitely use them again and would have no hesitation in recommending Alex and the team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
18th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)This is our second year renting with MySpace - we are very happy with their service and would really recommend them. Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!
5th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Fatih, Marley and team at London Move are a great agency. Fast communication, open and transparent and have great properties to offer.- 14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)All the staff at this branch are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially Carly and Philip who have personally gone out of their way to address and help with any queries, however big or small that we may of had. They have helped us in managing our tenants and also the upkeep of a new build development of 8 Flats. I can't recommend them highly enough!!
Thanks Guys.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Sanders Property has been very easy to work with while moving into our new flat. They are partners with Please Connect Me for all bills which meant within a few days of moving in all our bills were discussed and agreed upon.
18th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)I've recently started dealing with Sam and have found him excellent in all my interactions. thanks Sam.
21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Haven't rented a place yet but giving 5 stars already for the communication in setting up for a viewing. Nathan from the agency had clear communication and helped with scheduling. This kind of help and professionalism before someone even paid for a rental tells me a lot about the agency. Thank you!
21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Louis is very helpful and quick to respond. Made the process of letting our new flat much easier.
21st Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Had some viewings with Cassandra at the clerkenwell office. She was so nice and very helpful with all of my questions. Such a pleasure to work with her and would definitely recommend to give these guys a visit.
16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)My experience with Foxtons Islington was mixed. My agent was responsive and helpful at first, but after I declined to make an offer on a property I couldn't view (the current tenants weren't allowing tours), he stopped replying entirely. I followed up several times over a few weeks and never heard back. That was disappointing, especially since I've had much better experiences with Foxtons branches elsewhere in London. On a positive note, the rest of the team and the receptionist were lovely and welcoming.
