Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

23rd Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Verity Frearson are the largest estate agent in Harrogate, and in my opinion are handling too many properties simultaneously. As a result they aren't able to give each property the desired attention and exposure. They are also so busy they are very rarely available to take your call and often don't get back to you.

20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Having rented a property managed by Nicholls Tyreman, I can confidently say that our experience with this company has been absolutely appalling.<br>Throughout our tenancy, we experienced repeated maintenance problems, including issues with shutters and blinds, hot water, a fly infestation and the upkeep of the grounds. Getting matters addressed was often a frustrating process involving repeated chasing.<br>Despite these issues, when it came to renewing our tenancy, we were faced with demands for a substantial rent increase and ultimately a Section 21 notice when we could not agree terms.<br>However, the worst part of our experience came when we vacated the property.<br>Having paid a significant deposit, Nicholls Tyreman sought to deduct an astonishing sum for redecoration, woodwork and for flooring.<br>It is remarkable how maintenance issues can be so difficult to resolve during a tenancy, yet when a tenant leaves, thousands of pounds of alleged remedial work suddenly becomes necessary.<br>The entire experience has left us with the impression that the interests of tenants come a very distant second.<br>I would strongly encourage anyone considering renting through Nicholls Tyreman to document absolutely everything, retain every email, photograph the property's condition and be extremely cautious when it comes to their deposit.<br>We have rented properties before and have never experienced anything quite like this.<br>In my opinion, the professionalism, fairness and standard of customer service have been completely unacceptable.<br>I would never use Nicholls Tyreman again and would strongly advise prospective tenants to consider other agents.<br>One star is one too many.

Particularly re-confirming our viewing appointment.<br>When showing us around the flat Jonathan was very thorough and left out nothing. In the office Ella Burnham and the rest of the team who contacted us were great. They made it a very easy process and we would highly recommend them.

Each member of the team went over and above to ensure my purchase was seamless, and kept me informed at every stage. 3rd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)My partner and I have rented our flat in Harrogate with Linley & Simpson since 2017, and have now decided to relocate and move into our flat next year.<br><br>I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone we've worked with over the years, and to thank Linley & Simpson for making our rental experience a really enjoyable one. The rental team have been truly amazing in quickly arranging viewings, and completing all the relevant paperwork, so that our flat was hardly ever empty.<br><br>The maintenance department have also been superb. The way the team have looked after our flat and taken care of all the various maintenance issues and problems we've had has been truly exemplary. It's not always easy when you're renting out your future home in another part of the country, but it's a lot easier when you have the support of a wonderful team you can trust.<br><br>It’s almost impossible to list all of the people who’ve helped and supported us over the years but Charlotte Thomson, Myah Dhanak, Katie Hardstaff, Zara Cunningham, Anthony Metcalfe, Nicola Walton, Lauran Taylor and Rhys Dandy are just a few of the key people who deserve a mention.<br><br>Thank you once again to everyone for supporting us over the last 9 years and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Linley & Simpson to anyone renting in Harrogate and the surrounding areas. They are the best team you could wish for!

20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Professional<br>I recently purchased a property through carter jonas and dealt primarily with Tony write, from the initial first conversation Tony was extremely helpful dealing with a property that wasn’t always completely straightforward but he was so professional and knowledgeable about the property and the issues regarding the purchase.<br>Tony was on hand throughout the process supporting us with solicitor questions and keeping us updated throughout, which made such a difference to us as buyers.<br>Thank you Tony you did a fantastic job.

It’s taken me a little while to get around to writing this review, but I wanted to make sure I did!<br><br>Victoria and Ben were always helpful, approachable and did everything they could to help us navigate the issues that came up during both the selling and buying process. Efficient. Responsive with calls and emails. Excellent at helping with negotiations.<br><br>We were really pleased with the service we received from Furnell and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy a property.<br><br>And… a lovely surprise when I went to collect the keys from the office- received some bubbles! Very kind! ??????<br><br>Thank you for your help and a great service! ??????????
