From the first day we were shown a house to finish, they stood by us and are always available to let you know the true state of things. We were first time buyers with no idea of the mortgage market. 21st Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Ihave been a tenant with Alex Neil Estate Agents for over five years. While I have generally found your services helpful, I am increasingly disappointed with the lack of timely response and action regarding reported maintenance issues recently . Although damages are acknowledged when reported, there appears to be little to no follow-through in arranging necessary repairs. This ongoing lack of resolution is both frustrating and concerning.
7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)We had a very poor experience trying to let our property with JDM. We did not receive a single valid offer in over 3 months. The one offer received had a dog which we stated at the outset is not permitted by the headlease. Within 2 weeks of moving to another estate agent, we accepted an offer. I had to regularly chase for updates and re-wrote the listing blurb. I felt it was an overall poor experience with little enthusiasm and drive to complete the letting!

Laura contacted me promptly after I put my enquiry in on the property, organised a viewing and coached us through all the admin to secure it. Then Jenancya called to introduce herself with friendly and professional manor and has responded to any questions, queries and problems we have with an understanding manor and continued to pursue our landlord to ensure a resolution.
26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)We sold our house in 2025 through Maddisons, and Karen (and the team) were amazing every step of the way. It was an unusual property, I live overseas, the buyers were tricky, lawyers were delayed and we needed additional last minute help to empty the house to meet the deadline - but everything was handled with professionalism and expert guidance. Karen also has great local networks - a moving company helped us at the 11th hour, only because they knew it was for her. She truly went above and beyond to make the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We’re so glad we chose Maddisons, and you can absolutely trust Karen to manage even the most challenging situations. Highly recommend!

2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Bracketts surveyors produced a highly inflated dilapidations report of £105,000 in favour of the landlord. The report appears to be based on assumptions rather than evidence. There was no Schedule of Condition prepared before the lease, and no photographs were taken at the start of the tenancy. Despite this, they produced a report claiming extensive dilapidations without any proper baseline to compare the property’s condition. I contacted them twice by email requesting clarification, but they never responded. Due to the lack of transparency and communication, I have now submitted a formal complaint to Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

I worked closely with David and Jordan, who were both highly knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and always easy to reach. As a first-time seller, they supported me through every step of the process, and I’m delighted with the lovely buyers they found for my home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We were given plenty of time to look around and ask questions. Bobby ensured we had a positive experience and told us not to hesitate to get in touch if we had further questions. We will be in touch. 30th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)We completed the sale of my parents’ house today and I cannot recommend Platform Property highly enough. This was a probate sale, and Platform took over after several unsuccessful months with a previous estate agent. They were proactive in getting in touch as the exclusive arrangement was coming to an end and made a strong, credible case for the quality of their service, which they fully lived up to. Despite a very challenging market, they generated over 20 viewings during the time the property was listed and guided us through a smooth and painless completion process. Communication throughout was excellent. We received prompt, detailed feedback after every viewing and always felt well informed at each stage. They also helpfully recommended a variety of different solicitors, and on the strength of their service we were happy to follow that recommendation. Customer care was consistently excellent: responsive, thorough and genuinely helpful. We are delighted with the outcome and very grateful for their professionalism and support throughout what could have been a difficult process.

This has included arranging a complete redecoration etc. He has gone above and beyond to help. I have found Gould Harrison very easy to, contact, polite and professional and am very pleased with the service I have received

Josh in particular has been excellent — incredibly proactive with his sites and always on top of what’s needed. He works closely with the Directors on site and consistently feeds back to us regarding servicing and repairs, which makes everything run smoothly and efficiently. It’s clear there’s strong communication and genuine care taken in managing their properties. We really value the professional and collaborative working relationship and look forward to continuing to work together.

They kept us informed at every stage of the process and were always available to answer any questions. Their communication was excellent, and they handled everything efficiently, which made what can often be a stressful process feel much more manageable. She gives you ideas on how to turn the property around, she is personable not to mention that once she dropped me off after a couple of viewings to the main street to get a bus…we still haven’t found the right property for me but I am hopeful and love working with her!
