They all need training including their managers as it’s a shambles dealing with them and from hear on out I will make sure they’re never recommended. 23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)We actually sold and bought a property through Longstaffs. The whole experience was excellent nothing was too much trouble. Calls were answered quickly and they got back to us if the person was unavailable at that moment. I think we had contact with most of the staff but Tracey was actually dealing with our sale and purchase and kept us informed and updated on all aspects. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
31st Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)The experience with John Bray as a tenant was great, until it became time to move out. Despite the flat being provided in a shabby and uncleaned state, we didn't raise a dispute and cleaned it ourselves. Hardly anything was fixed during our three years there, despite us telling them repeatedly. Upon moving out we cleaned the flat fully and to a higher standard than we received it. After almost 2 weeks of hearing nothing about the deposit we were handed cleaning charges, which we disputed. That was when they sent condescending e-mails telling me I'm "lucky" they aren't charging me more and trying to bully me into accepting the charges "to get my remaining deposit back quicker". If you are renting with them, take detailed pictures of everything you receive, and be prepared to be talked to like you're a child when you ask for you deposit back.

26th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Visited Rosedale Property Agents at their office in Market Deeping and found them to be friendly, positive, well organised and professional. I was lucky enough to have a valuation carried out that same day and viewings were arranged immediately. The office kept me up to date and well informed about everything going on. One week later I have an offer on the property, which I have accepted. I have been pleasantly surprised by how quickly things have moved and delighted to have make such rapid progress within such a short space of time. I can recommend Rosedale without hesitation. Thank you very much to Sue, Becky and Sharon for excellent work.

24th May 2024 (1 year ago)This is the third time I have used Pridea to sell a property. Exactly the same experience every time. The property sells quickly with one robust sale that goes through to completion. Not my experience of using other estate agents in the area.

9th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

23rd Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Turned up to a viewing that they said they had no knowledge about even though i spoke to them on the phone with Phillip and confirmed it plus got email to confirm it and then they say they would ring me back to book in another appointment and spoke to abbie on the phone yet they haven’t been in touch and this has been over a week simply not good enough this was the property for 45 william street in newark not professional at all

2nd May 2026 (7 days ago)urgently needed a room in a week and this agency upcharged me an extra £100 due to being a "short term rental" spoke to other estate agents and they all said it was just made up had to constantly call the new estate agents to get it reduced to the normal advertised rate. they also changed the document for tenancy rent price after i had paid the holding fee constant drip-feeding me information and very slow told me i could pay monthly then a day before move in said no you have to pay two months upfront + deposit awful experience steer clear

I rented a mice infested apartment with them, finding out this was an issue they had known about for three years and continued to let. Had a hole in the roof for six months that they didn’t fix and have had to vacate due to such poor living conditions. And after all that claimed half my deposit for an issue they failed to record in the inventory from the previous tenancy.
