28th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.
17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)Absolutely shocking. We put forward an offer on a property. We received a call to say that if we increased it, it would be accepted and that the seller was happy for it to be ours. We put forward the new offer and when we asked the estate agent whether this would be accepted, they said yes and told us to send over the relevant documents. Not even one hour later, we received a call to basically tell us that we had been gazumped. Apparently another offeree had put forward an offer which was ‘a lot higher’ than ours and the seller had accepted this. When we asked how much more this new figure was, the estate agent actually laughed down the phone and said ‘I can’t tell you that.’ I understand that you couldn’t tell us the figure, but you didn’t need to laugh and be rude, especially after you had wasted our entire day and got our hopes up. A bit of advice for you: if you’re aware that the seller is going to consider other offers and potentially accept a higher one, don’t tell the ‘original’ buyer in the first place that their offer has been accepted and that the seller is willing to let them have the property. Just be honest and have a bit of compassion.

5th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)AWFUL SERVICE. NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Why anyone would list with this company is beyond me. They clearly dont act on behalf of their clients. I've called 20 times this week to arrange a viewing and never once answered.- 4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)We used Gascoigne Halman Cheadle for the sale of our home. Mortgage broker Hayley was very helpful, went above and beyond for us. The staff were all very polite & informative, keeping us in the loop along the journey. Will Minns was super helpful, if we ever had any queries, he would always find the answers. Thank you team
21st Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)Helpful staff with good communication, fees slightly higher than competitors but quick sale- 13th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)Reduced it within a week of being on the market so just shows they got the valuation so wrong. Communication was very poor. Only had two viewings first I had to chase feedback. Never given feedback from the last viewing. When I gave notice I was emailed to say 3 viewings had taken place. They had not. We have changed estate agents as a result of poor service.

13th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid Chante - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service! I am writing this review to save others from the incredibly frustrating experience I had dealing with Chante at Johns & Co. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent and misleading. On several occasions, she said she would “call the landlord” and implied urgency due to another offer being made on the property. However, the flat had reportedly been on the market for months with no interest until we became involved. The pressure tactics felt dishonest and unnecessary. Communication was one of the biggest issues. Messages would often go unanswered for long periods, which makes it extremely difficult to plan viewings in London’s fast-paced rental market. After repeated follow-ups and pushback, we finally agreed on a viewing. I travelled 1.5 hours specifically to attend. I arrived five minutes early at 7:40am and asked where we should meet. I was told she was waiting for a colleague to drop off keys. I then waited outside for 30 minutes. Instead of proceeding with the viewing, she decided to return to her office because she had a meeting to attend - effectively leaving without conducting the viewing. No proper apology, no professional handling of the situation. It is not normal or acceptable to deflect, mislead, ghost clients, or waste someone’s time in this way. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision before engaging with her. I also hope Johns & Co management take this feedback seriously and address the standard of service being delivered.
27th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I first called Encasa in November 2025 about a property but received no follow-up. I called again first week in January 2026 to arrange a viewing while I would be in the area, but still received no response. My son also called on my behalf and was told to email if it was urgent, even though he explained I was travelling a distance away from Solihull and as I was viewing another house and because they didn't get back to me can I view their house yet there was no follow-up to any of these attempts. This repeated lack of responsiveness caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. Serious buyers should be aware that arranging a viewing with Encasa can be very frustrating.
