Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)This agency deserves a -5.<br>I experienced being selectively ignored regarding serious issues with the property I rent. Communication from my experienced haven’t been very good either. Emails get ignored and no one really chases up on issues you bring up the “work” done tends to be botched jobs that fall below standards and tenants are just expected to put up and shut up. can’t give no answer on speaking with the landlords to rectify issues unless you have to become persistent chasing them for answers and even then it runs the risk of being ignored. When I reported an ongoing issue for over 3 years I have experienced being told I was running the risk of the landlords selling up. Which was couple months ago. but if things do happen it tends to be botch jobs and masking over issues rather than fixing them. I have sat and read the reviews and Every single “negative” review is also something i have experienced too, my experiences with this agency hasn’t been the greatest unfortunately. If you do speak up be prepared to receive a threatening emails regarding legal action.

However, communication of our sale performance during the marketing period could have been better. We had to call them on occasions to get an update of any interest, a simple call to us every few weeks would have been useful. 8th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)After speaking with five different estate agents, I knew that Ellis at Hunters was the right person to help us sell our house.<br><br>Selling a home that was so precious to us was always going to be an emotional and stressful process, so having someone who was approachable, responsive, trustworthy and genuinely cared about getting the right buyers was incredibly important to us.<br><br>Ellis 100% proved his worth and then some. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to help us through the process. He was always available when we needed him, kept us informed, and reassured us during some particularly stressful moments.<br><br>We genuinely cannot thank Ellis enough for everything he did, along with the rest of the team at Hunters. From start to finish, they were exceptional and made what could have been a very difficult experience so much easier.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ellis and the team at Hunters to anyone looking to sell their home. 6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I couldn’t recommend Ajwa enough. As a young first-time buyer, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she made the whole mortgage process so much easier. She was always informative, explained everything clearly, kept me updated every step of the way, and was always available whenever I had questions. Her communication and support throughout the process were excellent, and she genuinely went above and beyond to help. Thank you, Ajwa, for making what could have been a long and confusing process feel so straightforward.

2nd Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Sarah was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, after her extra diligence she gave us a valuation much higher than the other estate agents had quoted and we sold on day one of been on the market. I took her advice all the way through the process and she even recommended a good solicitor too. Highly recommend sarah and her team she was very confident and personable though out. Easily 5 stars
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

6th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)I wanted to do my own viewings, and Purple Bricks were bar far the best value for money. They put our board up within a day, and took our photos and did the EPC certificate within 3 days. A week after we decided to sell it was advertised on Zoopla and Right Move. Viewings were managed through the portal very simply. They requested feedback from every viewing. When we had an offer it was so easy to negotiate through the portal. After we accepted the offer they put the sold sign up next day, produced the memorandum of sale within 2 days and amended the zoopla and rightmove status. They are superb compared to the agent we are buying our house off who still havnt marked as sold a week after having our offer accepted. I would recommend purple bricks without hesitation.

Selling a house can be stressful, but they were there every step of the way and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.<br>A big thank you to Ross and everyone in the office for all your hard work. 9th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)We got our house sold in the end but the guy who was given to us, didn’t do a good job, late to appointments, didn’t tell the truth about we were with buyers. Don’t think this guy works there now but it is the owners responsibility to see what was going on.
