3rd Feb 2026 (14 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
29th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)one of agent named called yasmin howe is very rude and arrogant. also they hold my holding deposit and has not been returned yet. and still waiting please go for other agent and dont risk your money other agent ask holding deposit after ur offer accepted but this one ask holding deposit **before ** offer accepted and they hold all possible tenant money and dont return them until u ask them ragely save ur time .and go for better agent .

17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)We contacted this agency today about a rental property in cockfosters London and had a very concerning experience. I was told that before even arranging a viewing, I had to complete an “income check” by opening my banking app and following their instructions so they could verify my finances in real time. I was also told that if I refused, they would not show me the flat. This is not normal or acceptable practice in the UK. On the same day, my English friend called about the exact same property. He was not asked to do any of these checks, even when he mentioned he could provide payslips. There was no mention of any banking app access or unusual verification process. This difference in treatment is extremely concerning and raises serious questions about discrimination and possible racism based on background or accent. Everyone should be treated fairly and equally when enquiring about a property. I am aware of my legal rights and will consider reporting this behaviour to the relevant authorities and the local council. Practices like this should be properly investigated to ensure tenants are protected from discrimination and unsafe requests for personal financial information.

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.

Since taking over the management of my property in late October 2025, she has been absolutely phenomenal at getting things done swiftly and efficiently. The moment I report any issues or repairs required in my property, Chelsea is instantly on it and always ensures everything is handled promptly. I truly cannot thank her enough for her commitment, professionalism, and support towards her tenants. He was a real pleasure to deal with throughout; he was transparent, cheerful and welcoming at viewings, keen to understand our needs and never overly pushy, which made us feel appreciated at what was an important decision for us. It look little time to land on the right property with Strutt and they have high quality stock. Highly recommended!!

So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

Rachel was instrumental in keeping the transaction moving when progress slowed with the seller’s solicitor. Her proactive approach made a real difference. Daniel also stepped in seamlessly to cover while Rachel was on leave, which we really appreciated. Paul handled negotiations professionally and helped both sides reach a fair outcome. Overall, a reliable and proactive team. Would definitely recommend.

I had just over a week to find myself an apartment that I liked and get moved in. Her quick communication, professionalism and genuine kindness is what made this all possible! Throughout the entire process she went above and beyond, and I truly felt treated like family. Both my parents and I are grateful to have met her. Thank you Krupa - for everything!
13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)I would strongly advise people to avoid V&A Properties at all costs. In my experience, this company is not who they present themselves to be. I have had a property with them since the 1st of April. From the beginning, I was pressured with constant phone calls to sign the contract and tenancy agreement. There were known issues with repairs in the property, but I was told that tenants were happy to decorate and accept the condition, which led me to proceed with signing the tenancy agreement. We went ahead and installed brand new appliances through Currys — including a washing machine, fridge, electric hob, and oven. We even paid an additional fee for professional installation, all completed and signed off by Currys installers. However, two weeks later, I was informed that the property was “not certified” and that tenants could not be placed there. When I asked what exactly was not certified, I was told that the cooker needed to be a freestanding unit. Without consulting me or getting my approval, they arranged for an electrician to carry out work and then sent me a bill of £1,400. Their communication has been extremely poor throughout. They also claimed they had emailed me over the weekend and that I had agreed to pay for this work. When I questioned this, it became clear that the email had just been sent at that moment, yet they were trying to say I had already agreed. From my experience, this company operates unprofessionally and without proper communication. They made decisions without my consent and then expected me to cover the costs. Please avoid this company if you can and look for a more reliable estate agent. I am now seeking legal advice
