23rd Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Verity Frearson are the largest estate agent in Harrogate, and in my opinion are handling too many properties simultaneously. As a result they aren't able to give each property the desired attention and exposure. They are also so busy they are very rarely available to take your call and often don't get back to you.

She was always so friendly, approachable and helpful, and really went above and beyond for us. When things weren’t moving along with the solicitors, Rachel did everything she could to help push things forward and keep everything on track, which we really appreciated. The initial valuation was informative, honest and collaborative, and helped us figure out the best asking price for the current market. When we moved forward, we were impressed with the photos, communication and prompt booking of viewings. We received timely feedback after each viewing, and everything was arranged with no hassle. When offers came in, the team helped us communicate with interested buyers and get the best possible price.<br><br>Sam in particular has been fantastic throughout. He supported us through viewings, discussions about offers and any queries that came up during the sale. He kept us updated regularly and was happy to chase solicitors and others to keep the process moving through to exchange and completion. Having a WhatsApp group was great too, as we had direct contact with Sam throughout.<br><br>Your Move helped make the process as stress free as possible, and we’re really happy we went with them!

In particular her suggesting the house to the producers of 'Location, Location, Location' was astute. Alex was calm, reliable & personable. Everything was dealt with promptly & with ease via appropriate communication : What's App, e mails, telephone conversations & in person.<br>Alex I, in the background, was prompt too with his admin support.<br>Excellent. Nothing was too much trouble during our house sale. The whole team have excellent knowledge of the location they are working in and the properties they are selling. I would highly recommend their services.

We encountered repeated issues with attention to detail, including property photographs requiring multiple rounds of correction due to obvious editing errors and eventually having to re-photograph the property. On more than one occasion, viewings were not properly prepared, curtains were left closed in a bedroom and there was confusion over access despite key locations having been provided, . We were also made aware that a viewer was left waiting outside because the agent arrived late to the appointment. While the manager responded professionally and apologised when concerns were raised, the overall experience left us feeling that greater organisation, communication and attention to detail were needed.
