10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)We have recently purchased a beautiful house through Carter and Jonas.<br>From the start of the process we have been fully informed and updated .<br>Extra viewings arranged and nothing we asked was too much trouble.<br>Catherine was extremely supportive and when sadly we had a bereavement in the family Catherine was both kind and professional and helped with making the purchase go as smoothly as possible under very difficult circumstances.<br>We can't thank Carter and Jonas and of course Catherine enough .<br>Now we start our new chapter in our stunning home ??????

Their approach to selling our home was a breath of fresh air and completely changed our expectations of what an estate agent should be.<br><br>From our very first meeting, Laura took the time to explain how we could present our home to achieve the best possible price and attract the right buyers. Her advice was practical, honest and incredibly valuable, and the marketing they created was unlike anything we’d seen before. It really showcased our home and generated fantastic interest.<br><br>One of the things we appreciated most was the communication. The WhatsApp updates were brilliant – after every viewing we received prompt feedback, knew exactly what buyers thought, and were kept fully informed of any interest or offers. We always felt involved and never had to chase for updates.<br><br>The team also took care of every viewing from start to finish, which made the whole process so much easier and far less disruptive. We have been working closely with Farrah who has been very prompt with replies and the organizing of the tenants going in. We are very nervous first time landlords and Farrah has answered our questions throughout and been excellent at settling our nerves.<br>I would 100% recommend and I am so pleased I have them managing our property.

11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)Danielle Kennett from the Michael Poole Middlesbrough branch is very experienced in helping people and giving her outstanding knowledge for a landlord in renting a property. She is a very patient lady with her clients, very softly spoken ,explaining each stage of the lettings process from start to finish.Keeping in contact with her clients - her management skills are an asset to the company . Danielle assisted me in such a lovely manner , The tenants that were applying for the property were properly vetted by her, She contacted .me telling me if they had any pets , if tenants wanted to do any alterations in the property .Danielle discussed this with me very thoroughly before a application was accepted as a positive tenant. I cannot thank Danielle enough in helping us out in the property being rented out , i would only bring any more rental properties to Danielle because i was overwhelmed with the way she handled all the process of renting. I am really happy with all the help Danielle gave me , and i wish her all the very best for the future as i can see her going further in the company .Thanks Frankie.

11th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)We agreed to 20 weeks with them to sell our house, they failed so after 32 weeks we left and they still charged us £264. We are currently looking for an Agent who will make a good effort to sell our property.
9th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Service good overall, but could improve slightly on telephone updates and communications. Many communications were sent via e mail which didn't feel as personal.

Everyone I have dealt with there has been friendly, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. Within two days I received an offer of the full asking price. They worked together with my solicitor to ensure the sale went through smoothly without any hitches. All the staff were friendly and super helpful, I definitely recommend Ingleby Homes to anyone who is looking to sell their property,

They found us the right buyers quickly and were pleasant and informative. Would highly recommend this office with particular thanks to Bev for sticking with us.

First, there is no way to actually speak to them on the phone — when I called, a voice message specifically stated that you cannot call them directly and I had to leave a message instead. For an estate agency, that is ridiculous.<br><br>I was visiting Ormskirk from another part of the UK and only in the area for a few hours. While driving in the area, I spotted a property I was interested in, so I made the effort to drive to their branch in person. I was met by a saleswoman from their team, who was cold and frankly snooty. Every question I asked was met with a long-winded "no" and zero useful information.<br><br>I am a seasoned property investor, part of the largest property network in the UK and Europe, and I regularly buy houses. Through their unhelpfulness and her dismissive attitude, they have lost not just my business but business from my wider network. I will not be using GR Estates again, and based on my experience I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

Jon gave us a fair and realistic valuation for the property and his write up and supporting photographs were excellent. All members of Hope & Braim who we encountered were efficient and friendly and gave us confidence in our choice of estate agent. We have already recommended H&B to friends who are looking to sell their property in the near future.

From our initial meeting, Angie understood our situation, was relaxed, knowledgeable, empathetic and generous with her words and imparting of information. Kept us uptodate at all times. We did not have to chase her for any information - it weas forthcoming when warranted. Superb efficient service, always willing to take any time needed to solve any concerns. Thank you very, very much Angie, you made a very stressful situation as stressfree as possible. Thank you also to your staff Eve and Grace.....super team. You all gave us the time we needed to explore options. I would recommend Reed Rains, Acomb, York everyday of the week! I would definitely engage their services again. Thank you!
