Steve, Jules, and Amelia were hands on from the start and the communication and support we received throughout a complex period was fantastic. From the very beginning, when I first called to arrange a viewing, right through to the day we collected the keys, Ali was incredibly helpful, kind and supportive.<br><br>He consistently kept us updated at every stage and went above and beyond to make sure we were informed about what was happening. In fact, there were several occasions when Ali had more information and was able to give us clearer updates than our own solicitor!<br><br>Buying a property can be stressful, but having someone so approachable, responsive and genuinely helpful made a huge difference. Ali was always happy to help, answer questions and keep things moving, and we really appreciated his support throughout the whole process.<br><br>We would highly recommend Ali to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Toby Oliver and Holly Staples were particularly helpful in making sure it all went smoothly. They were very supportive and prompt to responding to all my queries. Was a 10/10 experience.

They have always responded promptly, provided clear and helpful advice, and were ready to answer any questions I had.<br><br>They took the time to understand what I needed as a landlady and offered practical options and guidance at every stage. From the first meeting with Dan, who was very professional and no hard sell, talking to the lovely ladies in the office who can't do enough to help and finally to Edward who came and took the photos and made the whole experience relaxed and easy. She was always so quick to respond to any queries and made everything so much easier, no matter how big or small the issue she never failed to resolve it!
17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)Were my estate agents at whilst I was at University. Really poor in terms of arranging things to be fixed and replaced. My bed broke and wasn’t usable and it genuinely took them over a month to replace. It was similar for the multiple leaks I had in the room. My room was essentially uninhabitable and they did nothing to fix<br>Were fair and quick to give back the deposit to be fair to them but my overall experience was really poor and I’d be mindful about renting with them. Clearly do take advantage of students and provide a really poor and slow service.

11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Updating our review as we’ve used Watsons again for both the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new one, and honestly, these guys are amazing!<br><br>Sarah and Laura in the sales team flooded us with viewings and worked hard to get our house sold.<br><br>Lucy, our sales progressor, was also fantastic. She kept us updated throughout, gave us really helpful advice and somehow managed to keep us calm when our buyer’s solicitor was uncooperative.<br><br>Couldn’t recommend Watsons enough and would definitely use them again!<br><br>House purchase back in 2017:<br>Above and beyond expectations.<br>Everyone knows house buying is never a smooth process and we had our hiccups but Sheree was always on hand to settle our nerves or give a few nudges to the parties involved! It’s good to see a small business smashing the market place.

28th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience for viewing “3 Lupin Close, Edwalton, Nottingham, NG12 4HU” on Saturday June 27th 2026<br><br>I had a viewing appointment booked for 2:45 pm, so I left home on time. Due to unexpected traffic, I realised I might be 5–10 minutes late. At around 2:40 pm, I called the Holden Copley office to inform them that I would arrive between 2:50 pm and 2:55 pm. I was assured that this was absolutely fine, that the team would be informed, and I was advised to continue to the property.<br><br>I arrived at 2:55 pm, rang the doorbell, and waited outside for around five minutes, assuming someone might still be inside. When nobody answered, I called the office again, only to be told that the sales executive had already left after waiting just two minutes, until approximately 2:47 pm, because his diary was “very busy.”<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is the complete double standard. Only last week, when viewing another one of their property (14 Autumn Close, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YL, on Monday 22nd June), their own sales executive arrived 15 minutes late. On that occasion, I patiently waited outside in the hot afternoon sun with my 5 and 8-year-old children, and I even had to cancel an important office meeting because of their delay. I accepted it without complaint because I understood that delays can happen.<br><br>However, yesterday when I informed them in advance that I would be delayed by no more than 10 minutes, they couldn’t extend the same basic courtesy. Instead, the appointment was effectively cancelled after waiting just two minutes, despite the office knowing exactly when I would arrive.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I requested that the sales executive return to the property, I was spoken to in a dismissive and rude manner. I was repeatedly told that his diary was “very busy” and that he would not be coming back. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no appreciation for the time I had spent travelling.<br><br>This is not how customers should be treated. If you expect clients to accommodate your delays, you should be willing to show the same flexibility when customers communicate honestly and courteously in advance. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer time have left me extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would seriously question whether Holden Copley genuinely values its customers.
