Very knowledgable as you would expect but friendly with it always on hand to offer advice in both rentals and selling. As they say “ you get what you pay for” you get more than what you pay for with this company. A pleasure to have watch them grow into what they are now .
30th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)In a nutshell (in case you're in a rush) we bought a home where Hamilton Piers were the managing estate agents, and they were so good that I had serious estate agent envy.<br><br>I honestly wish we'd chosen them to sell our own home.<br><br>From day one, the experience was a joy. Jade, Jenna and Sarah were not only professional and exceptionally knowledgeable, but also genuinely engaging, compassionate and have great senses of humour. They made us feel like actual people rather than just another sales commission or invoice number.<br><br>Having worked with a few estate agents now, I'd lost faith in the industry. More than once I've been charmed at the start, only to find myself constantly chasing updates after signing up, feeling dismissed and embarrassed that I'd fallen for the sales patter. Hamilton Piers completely restored that faith. Their commitment never wavered.<br><br>Every query was dealt with promptly, and Sarah, their Sales Progression Manager, became someone I spoke to every week. She kept us informed at every stage of the process, not only updating us on the progress of the move but also checking in to see how we were doing and offering help wherever she could.<br><br>The purchase wasn't entirely smooth sailing due to some complications with safety paperwork (nothing to do with the estate agents), but it was handled with extraordinary patience, professionalism and diplomacy. At every stage, we were confident that we were in safe hands.<br><br>We have no plans to move again any time soon, but if we ever do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Hamilton Piers. 27th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)To say Olivia changed our lives would genuinely be an understatement.<br><br>What should have been a relatively straightforward move turned into a much longer and far more stressful process than we ever anticipated, but Olivia was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond at every possible opportunity to keep things moving, get problems resolved as quickly as possible and, just as importantly, keep us calm and reassured throughout it all.<br><br>Evenings, weekends, even while she was on holiday — Olivia always seemed to be there when we needed her. The level of care, communication and commitment she showed us was honestly exceptional.<br><br>The entire team at Beresfords Maldon were fantastic, helping us with both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home. We’ve now moved into what we genuinely hope will be our forever home, while also achieving a fantastic price on our sale.<br><br>Five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough.<br><br>Thank you so much to Olivia and everyone at Beresfords Maldon for everything you did for us. Bryony Collett has kept me updated through the whole process, and her communication has made me feel at ease whilst purchasing my first home. Compared to another Estate Agents I have also been dealing with, I would never go anywhere else now. Thank you again Bryony, I would definitely recommend this estate agents to anyone looking at buying a home.
9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We recently purchased a beautifully situated property which, as well as requiring modernisation, presented several complications and challenges throughout the buying process.<br><br>The team at David Burr, Castle Hedingham, were excellent from start to finish. Their communication was particularly impressive – regular updates, prompt responses and a genuinely proactive approach meant we always knew where things stood. Refreshingly, we never had to chase for information.<br><br>A special thank you to Tim for his hard work, patience and determination in helping everyone navigate the challenges and bringing the sale to a successful conclusion.<br><br>We would certainly use David Burr again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Castle Hedingham team.

5th May 2023 (3 years ago)Very disappointing… they didn’t vet the viewers carefully enough and had a lot of time wasters . Marketing of the property was such that offers were coming in way below what the property was worth. When I asked them to take the property off the market it took them days to take it off Rightmove and they still haven’t been round to collect the For Sale sign or indeed return the spare set of keys we lent them .
24th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Very poor property description initially - evidently no research of the area undertaken and lack of property features included as well as some inaccurate information used. Having given some pointers of the positives of the property and locality, they basically used all of my wording resulting in having described the property ourselves and providing the sales pitch for them. No communication whatsoever in 3/4 months. No signs of additional effort other than listing on basic sales sights (eg rightmove etc) Different advice given by different staff members. Request for partial refund of advertising fees completed ignored after complaint and subsequent dis-instruction, we didn’t even receive a reply or acknowledgement of this.

He is always on hand to answer questions, offer valuable advice and provide reassurance whenever needed.
