30th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)The whole process of selling my flat was smoothed over by the estate agents and solicitor at Robert Duff's. Their experience and expertise meant that I had no anxiety about what needed to be done. As well as being professional, they were also friendly and understanding and kept me informed with what was happening. The flat was well presented and publicised and it was sold very quickly thanks to them. I am very grateful to the estate agents and solicitor who did all this for me.
25th Apr 2019 (7 years ago)Went in to enquire about the area as a potential place to move to and the staff were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Every question was met with an unhelpful response. Got the feeling she didn't want us to move there or she was incompetent at her job. Won't be back any time soon!!

10th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)I used Hollie McDicken for solicitor conveyancing to purchase my first house and she was amazing, I was kept informed all the way through and she didn’t put a single foot wrong. Sometimes you hear horror stories about Solicitors taking an age to reply or respond but I had 0 issues with this and would not hesitate to use Barnetts Services again
22nd May 2024 (2 years ago)I recently sold my property through Wardhaugh, and found the staff to be extremely personable and knowledgeable. The sale encountered some difficulties, however Jen and Roddy were there to offer sound advice and reassurance, which ultimately resulted in a successful conclusion. The photography and marketing service was extremely good, and weekend and out of hours viewings were included in the service. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service provided, and would recommend.
6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

Months of chasing for basic answers and a refund timeline. Communication is dismissive and contradictory, and getting a clear breakdown of what’s been spent and what’s being withheld has been like pulling teeth. Would not recommend to anyone.

The team truly went above and beyond, making the entire process much easier, especially for my dad, who needed assistance with all the paperwork involved. Their guidance and patience were invaluable, and my dad was genuinely thankful for their help. Given our parents’ age and the added challenge of my mum’s vascular dementia, we could not have made this move a reality without the unwavering support of Arran Estate Agents. Their compassion and empathy for our situation were evident at every step, and they made sure we felt cared for throughout the journey.
