7th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)They have been generally good to deal with and have been efficient. Where there have been minor errors and changes to sort out, these have been dealt with promptly. I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

Ollie valued our home and gave great insight into the current market and made us feel confident Rowland Gorringe was the right estate agents for us. Harry worked really hard to get good viewings, have really useful feedback and was responsive when we had questions. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided as well as the wider team, including Megan and Rupert. Thanks again and I would highly recommend this estate agents for both selling and buying
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)From Laura's calming and reassuring first visit to our house to guide us through the sale process, we were most impressed by the professionalism of the DOMVS team. This continued through the handling of viewings by Julie, Craig and Shireen (and others) to the excellent communication and advice from Marcus in the 'sales progression team', the latter over a protracted period due to issues with our onward move. We felt supported every step of the way and don't hesitate in recommending DOMVS.

22nd Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)Farndells have been brilliant. John Farndell is very direct and honest, which really works for me—though it might not suit everyone. That said, having a realistic and straightforward view is far more helpful in the long run. You may not always like what he says, but it’s factual and truthful. You can choose to ignore the advice, but if you genuinely want to sell, it’s worth listening and taking it on board. I’d definitely recommend using them.

Communication was exceptional; he always kept us updated, promptly returned our calls, and answered our questions. Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, but Glyn-Jones made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. They went above and beyond by keeping the chain moving smoothly. 19th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recetly used Archers to sell a family Probate property which wasn't without its issues, all of which were dealt with calmly & professionally by David. He didn't " hound"" us once over the time it took to sort out the problems & was very reassuring & helpful throughout the long process. Personally I don't have any further reason for Polegate in my life going forward, but would highly recommend Archers Estate Agents to anyone who does!

Sales progression is laughable, attention to detail is non existent. Avoid the stress, avoid this sleepy outpost!<br><br>Customer service and complaints process are a farce, so called "quality assurance director" refused to even discuss my complaint! It seems that it's perfectly acceptable for their estate agents to negligently misrepresent buyers position with total impunity. Bought and sold lots of properties and these are the worst I've ever used! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Their communication was consistently good and they kept us updated regarding viewings, feedback and progress. Always keen to help with the property as we weren't local. Completed this week and am very happy!
4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Although there are other estate agents in the area who we reached out to, Pettengells (we dealt with Simon & Adrian initially) stood out because of their calm, professional and non-pushy approach. We were very happy for them to help us with the sale of our house, and they were also the agent for the property we were buying. The team in the office are friendly, proactive and care about giving a good customer service. Overall we would highly recommend.

10th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)We would have no hesitation in recommending Jack and his team. Our house sold within 2 weeks because in our opinion it was priced correctly. A WhatsApp group was set up so we were all in the loop as the move progressed, this was great for information about viewings too. If we had any questions we messaged and Jack or Robin answered promptly. The 5 stars are well deserved as friendliness and professionalism goes a long way, Fairmonts have both of these and more. Not sure we will move again but if we did we would be calling them 100%.
