I’ve bought and sold four properties with Wards over the years. But my most recent experience with Michelle and the New Romney branch has been the best by far. Michelle took me to see several properties over several days and was enthusiastic and helpful throughout. She helped me make the right offer to secure the property when we found the right one. And since then she’s popped up every time something needed an extra push. I can’t fault Michelle. She’s been excellent. Her colleagues have also been great including Steve, the branch manager and his fishing tips!

We had a great experience with the Wards New Romney team, especially Michelle. The property needed some work & needed the right person to take it on. The property was empty so Michelle did the majority of the viewings with the potential buyers. She contacted us to confirm the viewings were arranged & updated us after the viewings with the potential buyers comments. This was really helpful. I know that Michelle took calls from the person who purchased the property on her days off & updated us on these days as well. That really is great customer service & shows her passion for the job. The whole process from instruction to sale was approx 3 months. Absolutely brilliant and we would definitely recommend Michelle & all of the Wards New Romney team.

We recently purchased a property through Wards in New Romney, and our experience was amazing. Throughout the process, the whole team provided excellent service from start to finish.
As first-time buyers, we were unsure about the process and the type of property we wanted. Michelle Carroll was incredible; she gave us excellent advice and assistance, helping us find the best property for our needs with her professionalism and expertise. She made the process of viewing different properties very enjoyable, even staying late to ensure we could view a property at our convenience. Michelle was down-to-earth and great fun to view properties with. We cannot compliment her enough, thank you so much!
Once we made an offer, we were promptly introduced to our sales progressor Debbie Ludgate, who was always on hand to answer any questions we had and to ensure the sale progressed quickly without any hold-ups. As first-time buyers, having someone available to provide advice and who understands the complexities when needed was invaluable!

Effective, efficient, professional and fun!
For the last two months we have been dealing/communicating with estate agents - the majority have been quite irritating to be honest! Then I made a call to the New Romney WARDS ESTATE AGENTS office and spoke with a Michelle Carroll. From the get go she was fabulous. Informative, patient, listened to every word I said and gave me confidence that we were going to receive an effective and efficient service. She immediately tapped into the type of property we were looking for and arranged viewings on eight properties. Some of which she had chosen for us from her own recommendations. All our communications were excellent whether it was via emails or phone calls. On the viewing day we met Michelle at the first property - she greeted us with a big smile, a firm handshake, a friendly warm demeanour and wearing a really smart suit. All the viewings were timed brilliantly so we flowed from one property to another without any rushing. I felt that Michelle was honest, professional but she also gave her genuine personal opinion when I asked her for it. The process of viewing properties and deciding where you want to live is such an emotional journey but Michelle made it fun and we had such a laugh along the way. We hope to find our forever home soon. Thank you Michelle, keep doing what you’re doing, you are a great Ambassador for WARDS.

Steve and team are the best estate agents in New Romney and the surrounding area. Selling anything in a difficult market requires special skills...knowing your locality; matching precisely the potential buyer and property and then well beyond the norm to complete the purchase. Steve, Curtis and Jamie must have been fed to the back teeth with my pestering but if they were they never lost their good humour and enthusiasm. I have bought and sold quite a few properties but in my honest assessment Wards in New Romney are best of breed. Thank you, Steve and team...I am very grateful for your superb help.

Friendly, professional staff who will charge you an additional £200 to have your photos taken of your property and then you cant have the negatives. RIP off when you consider their fees. If they get viewings beware you will be doing them. No I would not recommend this agent

Had a CCJ I wasn't aware of, and they refused to give me back my holding deposit which was £120! They even put the property back on the site even though they had my holding deposit! They are scammers... Avoid them at all costs!
